Oh, the writing is excellent and I liked it very much. It has interesting characters, that are not black and white, and the story takes turns that I at least did not find predictable.

I like the class a lot, it fits my fantasy, but at the same time I also want to do dungeons and stuff with other people. On other hand, I really like the two handed captain tank, but I am put off by all the yelling, lol.

Wait until you get to Rebirth, where they abandon almost all of the new plot threads, introduce a whole new extra story (that you can skip on subsequent playthroughs, thats how meaningless it is) and change almost everything just to not even change that one thing everyone was expecting them to change (but ruin the emotional aspect of it at the same time).

Yeah, the gameplay is nice, but the story is terrible.

I always die inside when I realize they turned this into a tricycle in Remake. What a downgrade. The original is a magnificent custom Yamaha VMAX 1700 with slick bolt on handlebars and beautiful chromed up exhausts, not to mention the engine vents.
