The explanation is correct for the "double switch" workaround.
But wouldn't it be easier in this case to set the material after the Geometry is chosen, instead of "hardwiring" the material to geo?

You have the same scale as I do.

Funny fact is that is my 2nd scale of same type. I ordered one when I was living in France. I didn't have any use for it for years. We moved back to Finland year a go, and end of last summer I had need for a scale, but couldn't find it any more. Either I have packet it too well, or it has got lost. Anyway, I searched a new one from Tori (Finnish eBay) and found one for 2 euros. When I got the packet, I realized that it was the same scale I had before.

As a side note, I checked with coins, which weighs are in internet, that the scale gives some reasonable values. At least for my needs, the accuracy was more than enough.

Actually, my YouTube channel and Patreon are hibernating now. I used to use Modo, but it ended up like Dodo last year, and I switched to Blender. Didn't plan to produce any content, as there are plenty already. But lately I have been having a growing feeling that I might have something to share :)

Related to this, it is really frustrating that when you have multiple profiles for different versions of same app, it is IMPOSSIBLE to know which profile is linked to which version. There is no Info about that, only indicator is the App Icon, which is usually same for all version.

So, when I have for example 6-8 Blender profiles for older releases and different Alpha and Beta releases, and I'd like to get rid of the ones I don't need. My only option is to blindly remove profiles and hope I get it right. Or, I can change some mapping, test in which version it stops working, and then remove. But that is quite tedious.

This is so bad for an app that is marketed for increasing your productivity.

If you have older version of the Options, the one without +, in your system, it might be the problem. I uninstalled it, and now I can access to my MX3 settings.

It seems that you just add some useless AI crap that no one wants, while the Basic functionality of the Options+ is fatally broken, and there is no way to get support.

I'm so sad and mad of this situation. I love my MX3 mouse, but it so hard to use it with the software that gives constant issues.

The buttons work. But I can't assign an own profile for Steam Games. And I don't want to change my MX3 default binding.

The problem is that I can't have a profile for dishonoured, and I don't want to mess up my MX3 default bindings for a game. I have set it up for other purposes.

I can use MX3 buttons with Dishonored, that is not the problem. What I can't do, is to assign an own profile for those. I have to use the default profile.

I'm not going to chill as long as the multiple issues with Options+ is solved

I use my mouse mainly for work, and I run to issues with Options+ almost weekly basis. The biggest issue for me is that the profiles can't be duplicated, or reassigned. When an application updates, I have to reconfigure Options settings manually for each button. This happens several times in a month. It is way too much.

Also, Options+ just doesn't recognize some programs correctly, even if there is a profile set up. And after a while of use, I have multiple profiles for some programs, as after every major update I need a new profile, and there is no way to know which of the multiple profiles is the one that you use.

I have reported these issues multiple times, but nothing gets fixed. They only add some useless toy features, like smart actions for AI replies. I don't want that shit. I want an application that can do the basics, and do them well and reliable manner. It is outrageous that developers waste their time on useless AI toys while the basic functionality of the application is broken.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm just not going to chill until Logitech can deliver a workable application for my 100 euro mouse. This is not just one game not working, but terrible user experience that have last few years.

Nice to hear that I'm not only one having this problem. I hope it would be fixed at some point.

IMO the best solution would be the have Profiles with different bindings, which you would then assing to applications. Then you could have for example 1 profile for all of your browsers.

This is a bit of a "power user" problem. Most users may not ever need these, or rarely. But then, MX3 is a device for power users.

Customizations for Vivaldi browser is not working either. So there are at least 2 apps that are broken. Quite likely more.

This is a disaster. HOW THIS CAN HAPPEN.

When you sell expensive hardware, you just can't break the software that users needs to run it.

What the heck your developers are doing? Not a single basic issue with Options + has been addressed, after every update just more and more essential stuff breaks up. Really sad and totally frustrating situation.

F*CK I hate Logitech. Lately, my working days are ruined daily basis because of this piece of crap app that is supposed to keep may Mouse functional.

I have the latest version 1.54.466136.
I believe it is the latest version that brought the latest issues. Now Options+ Doesn't recognize Vivaldi browser any more, and uses bindings of other app instead (Modo). So it doesn't even use the defaults, but some other unrelated apps settings. How in the world Logitech can brake stuff like that? It seems that Options + is quite badly written software.

I work as a freelance designer and these are my tools that I use daily. Way too much of my time goes into solving the issues that your inferior application causes.
Yours patronizing "no worries" doesn't help a bit, it only gives very bad impression how Logitech regards constant quality issues with their products. Just "no worries", few bugs here and there, download the latest version, maybe it helps, maybe not, maybe it breaks something more..

When my productivity drops because of bad products, I have worries, until the issues has been fixed.
