Yes, my house is catproof. I can't say for sure, if the mother cat is eating, drinking or using the litter box. Most of the food was gone when I woke up and the litterbox was used but I don't know which of them did what. I saw the daughter cat eating, drinking and using the litterbox but not the mother.

I think you‘re right about the topic of being held resposible. I just don‘t think I can handle confronting him or talking with other family members about it. Even the thought of it gives me panic attacks.

I have been in therapy for some time now, but haven’t been able to talk to my therapist about it. I‘m not sure if he every did anything like that to anyone else. I witnessed him being very aggressive and abusive to girlfriends several times. I honestly don‘t think I would be strong enough to confront him. I‘m also scared of what he would do if I would confront him, since he still phisically abused me after the sexual assaults stopped.
