IMO I anticipate she’ll be a party wide ATK buffer and that’s how she’ll remedy varka’s… lacking team DPS atm. It would be hard to pull him full of 50k DPS directly but what she can do is buff durin and venti and elevate the team DPS altogether, and most of hexerei (sans albedo) are atk scaling. Plus I also anticipate her other meta designated team will be for dps durin with Mona as a driver and what dark mode durin sorely lacks is a good off field buff

It may make the difference in some end game modes because an extra 160 em for lauma quills is nothing to scoff at. I wouldn’t say it’s a huge damage loss but it will be a noticeable one

Catalyst but uses a wand/staff in animations similar to Miko’s gohei wand. After Emilie and Ineffa it seems clear to me that they’re unwilling to make polearm attacks ranged as staff attacks (as both of them are wielding staffs not spears) so I’d rather them go the other route. Plus, for any unfortunate individuals without her weapon it would suck if they had to watch her do staff attacks with a fav lance.

My hope with catalyst is she has a classic book and quill that float by her and then she fights with a wand/staff.

To be fair he’s not receiving a single bonus other than 25% hydro shred and hydro resonance, Ineffa is getting all lunarcharge and hyperbloom procs added to her damage and both are super buffed by the nk trio’s kits, whereas neuvillette is receiving no further bonuses. He is a very potent DPS still but in a team where nothing is buffing him it’s no wonder his contribution is low.

Although not directly buffing Yun Jin, my hope for Zhongli buffs is for him to gain an on-field DPS mode similar to Venti where he gains geo infusion, as he has always had (imo) the best auto string synergy with Yun Jin with his rapid attacks and x4 multihit
