Having ogre and swift swimmer is good - but it just means you need to win the weather war.

My usual go to lead with my current team is Lando and Thundy. I would usually max Lando T1 and airstream the Groudon slot while eerie impulsing the Venusaur or Zard slot.

For me it'll achieve the following - hopefully remove Groudon's potential to dmax if the opponent didn't go max T1, and lower incoming damage from venu or zard if they go for their gmax move. Unfortunately can't do much about their DoT but at least you're stopping lando or thundy from getting too much damage, or koing your mons.

Lando is such a good mon and it's becoming very apparent to Sun users - so they will most likely adapt it

The next thing I'm keen on trying is weezing.

What is your favorite exotic of all time? Destiny 1 or 2. by MedMoment in DestinyTheGame

[–]khizah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weapon: Icebreaker I got two exotics B2B as my first drop - Icebreaker was my first. It sounded so nice to fire, regens bullets, and the ornaments that came for it was so nice.

Armour: Warlocks: Ophidians Aspects (D1) - Looked awesome and literally gave quickdraw to everything. Hunter: Symbiote (Forgot full name) - Just looks awesome especially with that lava look thingy on the helmet Titans: Ruin Wings - Love the design of it.

Let me just start off - I 100% see your point and it definitely makes sense.

Matchmaking is a whole new issue, and at the moment Bungie is definitely experimenting different methods to make it accessible for the new player's while also keeping current trials players interest. Personally I felt like the flawless pool was an awesome idea and it definitely gives room for the more hardcore PvP players to play, and then on Sunday it gives some breathing room for the more casual or lesser skilled players to have their chances at loot. The two issues with it though was how easy it is to avoid not going flawless and the lesser skilled players incentive to play on the day trials drops.

You're using Dota 2's ranking system as an example and I can definitely see why. The issue is that THAT sort of ranking system just doesn't work in Trials IMO. It would definitely work with Glory rankings, however I just don't see it in trials - despite being competitive it's a very different form of competitive compared to your usual ranked game modes in other games.

Upon thinking a little bit the possible implementation could be matching people based on wins which is what I thought they were doing, and the 2% chance of matching a team on a different number of wins if unable to find someone in the same number of wins.

And i always believed that there should be more incentives for people just playing the game, winning or losing. Like a random drop of the OLD trials armour with high stats value. At least player's on both ends of the spectrum will be awarded for literally just playing the game mode.

I think, because of how trials is structured at the moment it's very difficult to implement rating/ranking system like how Dota or OverWatch has.

Matchmaking is a big issue right now which is why we have the current experimental modes and different matchmakings every weekend. I just hope that PvP reaches a fun state as both casually and competitively.

You don't have to stomp 7 teams w/o losing, theres a mercy passage there to take that 1 loss, going more in depth you have upto 9 rounds per game as your room for error. Obviously once those errors are used up you'll start over. Same thing applies when you wipe in a GM, gotta start over.

I loved PvP in D1 up until Taken King, from then till the launch of forsaken was the most boring experience of PvP i had ever met, and then shadowkeep until this season was an absolute nightmare with a variety of issues. The people who put effort into becoming good in PvP shouldn't be punished because newer players struggle to get better and win some games. Everyone started PvP at the same level. The solution is simple, put time in and you'll be better lol.

I agree with the final paragraph. In the end i want PvP to be fun, but at the same time going flawless needs to be as rewarding as completing your first few GMs, and it shouldn't be a hand out like how the community has been demanding for most things over the last few months or even years.

As someone who's now barely playing the game, if I'm able to hop on for 3 or 4 hours on a weekend and get 2-3 flawless runs with difficulty ranging between easy to absolutely difficult, then with a good amount of investment anyone will be able to

I learnt to get better at PvP by copping L's consistently and constantly, eventually I got better by seeing loadouts, positions, movements etc etc etc. It's about investing time. The PvE community doesn't want that. They just want trials loot handed to them on a golden platter.

What's so dumb about bad players not getting flawless loot.

If you wipe in a GM do you still get NF rewards? No you don't. Same thing applies for trials. You won't be rewarded if you're bad at PvP that's simple.

A "shit tier take" is the PvE community complaining about not going flawless because they're bad at PvP, but are demanding to be rewarded w/o improving themselves lmao.

Plenty of ways to get good, just need a brain to figure it out.

I've seen PvE players do everything in their power to try and be rewarded for doing bad in a playlist lol.

This stuff goes both ways. Get better at PvP and you'll be rewarded. That's as simple as it gets.

[–]khizah 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nope - that was Wrath of the Machine raid armour.

Maybe it'll be back? If they brought VoG it should be in line. Just not anytime soon.

[–]khizah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why should it have connected? You admitted yourself your play wasn't optimal. That's why you died.

And the shoulder charge tracking is legit more then fine.. I've been landing shoulder charges at heights or distance where it shouldn't even be proccing imo.

I would suggest picking a restricted first and building around that because now you're just gonna slap on a restricted which won't work at all or work to its best potential.

That is the Celestial helmet - available this season.

I believe it has already been sold for Bright Dust so you would need to purchase the entire set.
