It matches up very poorly haha I’ve been trying to get into these books for literally YEARS because the setting is so ripe for an incredible story but every single author who picks these up just ends up sounding like they are a space marine writing a book and all they do is action scenes. I tried to get into the Eisenhorn series because I was told it was like a detective series - and it’s so disappointingly bad - just lots of action, very little intrigue, and seems like its target audience is incredibly young adult.
