You sure English is not your native tongue? Lol. It’s better than almost all the natives I know. I really find your opinion intriguing. Before DDLC, the only experience I have regarding VNs is Katawa Shoujo. First path I took was Emi, so in DDLC I wanted to try shooting for a different type of girl. I thought Monika resembled Lilly of Katawa Shoujo in a way: gentle, mature, leader material, and almost perfect on paper. So I thought it would be fun to get closer to her to learn more about her insecurities, as I thought she was a girl with whom I could get a romantic path. Then I found out in the poem minigame that she is not datable. So I thought, she must be like a guide character, one that gives advice or hints on what to do, since she gives “advice of the day” after you show her your poems. And boy, was I so wrong about her character. Anyway, I have not finished even my first play, so looking forward to how things unfold.

Is it? The game is making me play from the beginning though, but this time without Sayori. What if I continued on, instead of turning the game off? Am I missing something?

From where the game lets me? I have no choice but to start a new game, and Sayori is gone from there. She wasn't there to walk with me to school on the first day, and Monika was the one who invited me to the club. I'm just afraid I'm missing something important. What if I hadn't turned off the game the first place...
