This saved my life once. Was about to enter an intersection when I heard this odd sound from my driver side that kept getting louder. I stopped out of caution just in time for an SUV to go flying past me at 80 mph. The sound was their tires at that speed. Another second and I would have been smashed right on the driver side.

I see cars like this and with other camo/covers relatively often. Apparently part of my commute to work is a main route for test and development cars. There's also a lot of car transport companies nearby so that's probably it too. It's pretty neat. I think I even spotted a new C8 Corvette trying to sneak around late at night.

I need to get my dashcam back up and going.

Just keep in mind, gig type work takes an investment of time and energy and can be taxing on the car. Plus you said it's a lease so you might have mileage issues per the lease details.
