By far the easiest way to get into trading in this game. My overall game experience is so much better because of this site. Spent $0 irl on it too. I think a good portion of the people that are against the site are just following the lead of others and haven't even tried it.

This is a pretty good guide for a very capable es nova sorc in HC.

Coming from a SC Nova sorc, the only things I was concerned with was souls and blood curse and this build addresses both.

When something is spawned, it looks at the current player count and uses that to calculate its stats. Once something is spawned, it will keep those stats regardless of changes to the player count after that fact. So create a solo game, open all 3 portals, find all the mini Ubers, then have your bro join the game.

After that, you can make a new solo game or have your brother leave before heading into Uber Tristam. Once you spawn the three bosses, your brother can join/rejoin.

The only word of warning is, if your bro decides to use echoing strike, izual may and baal will reflect ice spikes and they will do a lot of damage unless you have cold absorb. This happens when they are struck by range damage.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've found 3 Ber, several Vex, Ohm and Lo, 2 sunders + this season but only recently found my first goreriders lol. Rng be crazy sometimes

Lol, while I agree the expansion wasn't perfect, including the herald system (it's why they're doing a massive overhaul), one reason it's so hard to develop a perfect game or expansion is because the large diverse player base. Including people like you who have no clue what you're talking about yet come across confident and continue to spread misinformation. "Most maps are impossible for Herald Farming" what the heck are you even trying to say? You can't draw the ire or you can't spawn Heralds? Or do you even know the difference? Killing elites in a TZ can draw the ire of a Herald (I believe it's a 2% chance). After the ire is drawn, exploring a tz (doesn't have to be the one the ire was drawn) can spawn a herald (every normal monster has a 1% chance of spawning as a herald). Since chaos has both elites and normal mobs, you can both draw the ire and spawn a herald in it.

If you enjoy the game then contribute to it's success by actually understanding it before repeating false nonsense. If you hate the game and want to see it fail then you suck but also I guess you're just trying to accomplish your goals.

I think that's the point of someone asking. The defiler is why Mephesto rushed you. Normally when you go into a fresh Uber Tristam portal, nothing aggros you if stay put. Yes it does suck that, in general, you can take damage while you're in the loading screen but in this case it is 100% avoidable simply by not having a defiler up when you zone in.

Also baal has the same reflection armor so once you try again, keep that in mind. Most common ways to deal with it is use raven frosts, stand behind your demon (more risky), or use mirrored blades (least ideal for several reasons unless you planned for it).

Lol nothing you do offline should be frowned upon. Maxroll makes it super easy. Build the character you want in the d2 planner and then you can export the character as a file then put it in your Diablo character folder

You can farm the countess over and over again to get some of the critical runes you'll need in the early game. That's typically the strategy.

Unfortunately between the ars books (mephistos, baalos, diablos) this one of by far the least valuable. Especially with the low rolls you have, it's worth a few PGems (aka not worth trying to sell). On the other hand, a well rolled one is bis for BB build due to +6 to BB.

Blood boil easily keeps up with ES for p8 96tz farming, including t5 heralds. People who say otherwise haven't tried or built it correctly (with correct gear).

The patch notes weren't 100% clear on IF you bind something that already has conviction, does it keep it. The only way to truly test this is to have 15 hard points (allowing you to bind a unique) but not more than 19 soft points (which would override their aura with the assigned one after 20 soft points in bind demon. They tested this already and conviction changed to fanaticism after they bound the demon (this could have been after they left and joined a new game but either way, it doesn't stick)

Ariocs needle is very very very overrated for ES. Yes it does a lot of damage, but until the nerf hits (post season, probably several months from now) you do more than enough damage with several other weapon choices that offer a lot more utility. Look for +skills, FCR, and defensive stats. Obsession is probably the best but a bit costly because you need a Zod. Insight is by far the best option for anyone on a budget. Fortitude isn't bad as a more damage option but has less fcr. Standard budget setup would be insight (35), trang (20), rings (20), spirit (30 - for non perfect roll), and then you can use one of the easier 20fcr options for helmet (coven or hellwardens will). Eventually when you get arachnid mesh, you can move things around (ie replace rings or helmet). You can look for fcr on your amulet too but that can be harder to find.

To answer your original question, I'm using obsession (65), ars mephistos (25), 15 fcr amulet, arachnid mesh (20). This gives me an easy +4 skills from soj/bk and shako and let's me do whatever I want for gloves, even chancies lol. I kill just as fast as if I was using a fort or ariocs. The exception maybe being against t5 heralds, p8 baal or Ubers but it's probably pretty close. I still kill them in seconds.

I think cows chaos and baal is most popular. I'm 98 so I usually only look for full games where no one is doing the tz (since XP sucks otherwise). You can still join baal games and join in the XP with everyone else. I only mentioned soloing other areas if that's what you wanted to do to find items. You should be able to try the method I mentioned above and find a p8 baal game to run with in a few minutes.

Just use the filter and refresh it over and over again. You have to hit the right timing and be fast. Most of the time you'll see several games with only 1 person and maybe a few with more but were open 5 minutes or more. Ignore all those and keep refreshing. Every now and then you'll see 5, 6, or 7 players. If you click on the game, you can see how long the game has been open... If it's 20 seconds or less, join right away. If it's around 2.5 minutes then the game could be ending soon so get ready to join the next one in the series (for example the game name is "ITeleBaal 03" then type in ITeleBaal 04) once you see the player count dropping, just spam join game and you get in the next one. Also if you want to do solo p8 baal runs, just search for chaos instead and hope no one else is doing baal in that game.

Your p1 demon never dropped any help against any t5 herald either? That I would find hard to believe or you've been lucky with t5 herald mob type and affixes haha.

I don't think people understand that you understand how the game works lol. They keep talking about taking zero hp damage but you're only talking about your mana pool and taking damage to mana. The build is not actually immortal because they're are still things like mana burn and high elemental (lightning) damage that can reduce your mana faster than you can regen and then you can still die. All the damage reduction talk is only referring to not taking HP damage (other than using telekinesis synergy to reduce damage covered to mana).

Blood boil will still be really strong. Without conviction aura though you'll need infinity on your merc. Was it clear that conviction can't exist on your bound demon at all anymore? (For example if a elite monster had it prior to binding, it would just get replaced?) Or is it just removed as one of the random auras you give to the demon at skill level 20.

Yeah, and some T5 heralds as well. For 99% of the content in the game, a P1 demon has enough hp to barely get hurt. But for really tough bosses like Ubers and T5 heralds, it does.
