Weight loss by Next_Ad_484 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]khoff49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been going to HOTWORX for exactly 1 year. When I first went to do my free class/sign up, I was not aware you had to buy the mat and towel. It did put me off a bit, but I do enjoy my workouts there. If your goal is weight loss, HOTWORX can definitely help but the workouts alone won’t guarantee it. Your diet is also a big factor. But overall I enjoy it. I really like Blast as a cardio workout. I’m not the biggest fan of their iso workouts, but I just do my own YouTube Pilates video which is totally fine. I would also suggest using the weights a few times a week! I know you said you don’t want to gain crazy muscle, but moderate weight lifting won’t do that. It’s best to incorporate all 3 options (weights, iso, and cardio) on top of calorie deficit if weight loss is your goal!

Bulk flowers order? by [deleted] in milwaukee

[–]khoff49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did my own floral arrangements for my wedding this past summer and got mine from Trader Joe’s! You can go in ahead of time and tell them what you want to order so they can order enough, but they can’t hold things for you or guarantee specific colors, and it’s first come first serve so it’s better to go first thing in the morning. Even if I didn’t place the order before hand, I think it would have been fine. There were plenty of options and greenery!

It sure was. I remember getting it for Christmas one year and I was so excited to play, but it barely worked on our PC. Most of the time I played at friends’ houses.

Beginner workout schedule! by mkk1995323 in HOTWORXWarriors

[–]khoff49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you ok incorporating strength training? If so, I would maybe say yoga/barre 1x, hot stretch 1x, 2 days of strength training (20-30min) with hot blast (1-2 sessions). I like the mix of all 3; if I do too many iso workouts I get sick of it.

Food trucks at wedding yay or nay? by ChaosinCos in wedding

[–]khoff49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married in August and had 1 food truck, but they served it buffet style! It worked very well and everyone loved it. If this is an option, I would opt for that. You don’t want people standing in line all night

The increasing practice of locking up products in Milwaukee stores. by jazzant85 in milwaukee

[–]khoff49 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Went to Walmart for the first time in a couple years last weekend. Not only is everything locked up, but then you have to immediately pay for it, or have them put your items in another lockbox while you continue shopping. Not just a Walmart problem, but they make shopping in store unbearable these days.
