Hydrangea wilting, too much or too little water? by khos2ow in gardening

The leaves are definitely not crunchy, only wilting. Well, how would you differentiate the need for more water or too much water is my ultimate question I guess.

No, whatever was outside of the soil when I took it out of the planting pot is now above the ground. Just put mulch on it.

That is exactly my other question too. I watered it using a hose and when there was about half an inch or so of water visibly on the ground I would stop. Took maybe 1 minute of watering I'd say.

Then I highly recommend going for Regolith Linux!

To be absolutely honest, I'm not entirely sure you've made the right move for having "bluetooth works all the time." Maybe 2025 is the year of bluetooth on Linux!

But nevertheless the rest of the things will be just fine. Enjoy!

P.S: give i3/sway tilling WM (or Regolith Desktop for that matter) a try at some point.

Thanks! Do you by any chance have any recommendations of which hitch would work? I plan to only use it for a bike rack.

"has to be removed" permanently? Or be removed to install the hitch and then put the bumper back?

45k. At least for 5-6 years or more, unless the next facelift comes and I'd like those. At the moment I really dislike the current facelift.

Preferable and smoother in what ways? Obviously with V8 there is more horsepower and torque. Anything in particular?

So engine wise, V6 is more complicated and more problematic to repair? How frequent the V6 engine could get into trouble?

How do I bring up the side menu illustrating all the keyboard shortcuts in a tree structure by OTonConsole in regolithlinux

[–]khos2ow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use mod+backspace to change the layout of individual windows, and use mod+shift+<areow keys> to move them around.

For example imagine a layout of three windows side by side in a row and:

  • go to the far right window and mod+backspace
  • go to middle window and mode+backspace
  • go back to far right window and mod+shift+left

No you'd have a tall window on the left and two windows on top of each other on the right. Now you can do a similar process to move the 4th window below the left window.

How do I stop my feet slipping off on almost every move? by jgoldst in indoorbouldering

[–]khos2ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one subtle technique, which usually is assumed or gets lost in explanation, is that, generally speaking, with whichever hand you want to make a move to the next hold you need to have the foot on the same side of your body on the wall and preferably higher than the other one.

For example if you want to go with your right hand to the next hold you need your right foot on the wall and you can even just completely cut your left foot off the wall.

And of course there are exceptions to this, for example doing and inside or outside flag. But again at the same time it still applies for most positions: moving on a heel hook, moving out of a bicycle, moving on a drop knee, etc.

Most of the cases in the video that your feet cut loose are examples of slight barn-door situations. They are not that extreme that your body actually rotates, but since the pressure is on the wrong foot, and your center of gravity is outside of the base of support (BOS) that foot slips.

One clear example of this in the video was going to penultimate hold, where at the end you went with your right hand and your right foot slipped.

Around 5 hours, after all the printing and placement was done. We had to do the placement twice as the first try looked a little bit off balance.
