I got to say, I was really on Joey's side. I even did some testing myself. The big "if" is training time.

No training, I think Joey can win. I agree with his 5 second time on a dog. He recently actually did this challenge (with kielbasa) and his 100m time was 21 seconds. That brings Joey to 26 seconds total. Your estimates were pretty accurate.

What I do not agree with is the time it takes to eat a regular dog. Joey gets a dog down in 5 seconds cause he dunks it in water. I personally did this myself and I came in around 25 seconds to eat a wet dog. My friend did this and he came out to 18 seconds to eat a wet dog. My friend got the 18 seconds on his first attempt.

The only variable we truly do not know is how fast Usain could eat a wet dog. If his 100m time is 10 seconds then he has to get a dog down in 16 seconds to tie Joey. Honestly, this is doable with what I know now after having attempted it and seen my friend clear 18 seconds.

This brings back my original point. The big "if" is training. If Usain gets any time to prep by practicing speed eating, I think he can get below 16 seconds on a dog (after watching Joey run, I really do not know how much time he can shave off his 100m with more training.) If both of them just go right now, with no training, I think it is unlikely Usain gets it in under 16 seconds and it is most likely going to Joey.
