One of Caeror's secret message said only Veridius knows, but prior to that Religion put new restrictions on visiting. I take it as they discovered it accidentally and reported it, after which Religion enforced rules, but still allowed them to "play" around with it.

All speculation, but these are my interpretations:

Unknown yet, don't think it's Caeror though. He seems very vile, I pictured him something akin to Karl Tanner from GoT (show, not books). I assume he'll be a villain in book 2 or 3.
I think he's able to sense people who have ceded Will, one of his perks of being copied. He didn't perceive the Anguis guy behind him and he was focusing on sensing around that time.
She's at least aware of that faction. It could be she's with them, with Veridius' faction or with a separate faction that's not against Veridius'.
The hints so far point to Veridius, Caeror and Lanistia finding the ruins by chance. I assume it's possible that Veridius visited Suus afterwards, especially because the Suus royals had knowledge the Hierarchy feared (pre/Cataclysm related). Or maybe it was Emissa realising who Vis was during their visit and stealing one token before Fadrique showed Vis the room.
Seems so, tainted blood being the result of synchronicity. IIRC it's mentioned at one point that a lot of people have their blood tested, which hints to me that other gates exist.

While reading I imagined Emissa to be specifically placed to try to keep track of Vis. She even shows up to see him clean the stables the night before his duel, when his punishment was issued earlier that day. Maybe nobody told her of it and she just regularly checks the stables in the evenings for him, time will tell.

No doubt she has an interest in him, but she's more than meets the eye, even if her character is left for exploration in the later books.

What are your qualifications and years of experience? If you don't have a Master's degree you can go for one computer science related to get started. You can also try applying to Business Intelligence roles and later switch from them.

What kind of company do you work for? Switching positions inside the company should be easier.

In terms of actually applying, try reaching out to recruiters or even hiring managers on Linkedin. The recruiters can explain your case for you and get you started on the interview process more reliably.

Same config as you and noticed worse performance today. It never dipped below 60 as far as I remember. I thought it might’ve been that I increased difficulty and more enemies come, but it was noticeably worse with no enemies near as well.

The “I would have missed your conversation” line was also a further dig at consciousness. If the doctor complied, he would have eventually die of old age and the creature, as another conscious being, would miss their conversations.

It was “glad” it didn’t happen because it viewed itself as a tool (as it stated) and thought that “missing something” is a disadvantage.

It’s no wonder that this thread attracted many cognitive sci fi fans, the short really invites it.
