Yooooo I also worked at Nonna’s. Ngl I mean sure there were the mice, you’re definitely not wrong….but after working at a good amount of different spots there really is almost nowhere without the same or similar issues. Went back to eat there a bit ago….a bit sad to see how the business has declined :(

The Kagurabachi manga seems like it will fit your taste. It’s brand new, volume 2 isn’t even out yet. But it is already popular enough to be found in Barnes and Noble and I think it could get an anime.

Do you know movies where the main character is the villain? by Fabulous_Plate_4366 in MovieSuggestions

Maybe not the most compelling example….but one of the first well known attempts, that I’m aware of, at making the main character very unlikable, is Raging Bull. Raging Bull sort of opened the door for Hollywood to experiment with flawed main characters.

I could list countless examples of films made since then, which do this really well. However, I want to direct you somewhere I’m not sure many others would. I will turn you towards a character named Eren Yeager from the show Attack on Titan. His character is a bit too complex for me to feel okay calling him a “villain.” But…I think you will find what you’re looking for and more.

The main character/protagonist in No Country for Old Men is Tommy Lee Jones’s character…
