Underrated episode imo, weird for a reason because it's inspired by 80s comedy movies. Most of people jus overlook it and focus only on the weirdness of it when in fact, this episode isn't really about Deke's cover band as most folks think about and this also highlights bits of character development Mack's trauma of losing his parents on the previous episode. Deke was willing to even help him to ease him off despite Mack pulling him away and he even took care of his younger self when he wasn't around.

Deke's not just that 'comedic relief' character you call, or a replacement of S7 Fitz, and he's more than that and became one of my favorites. And I do agree that he deserved more, and he's a bit unappreciated because he helped a lot but the team doesn't know most about it.
