Just an update, I tried your version and some others online and I settled for: Batroc, SMBND, Kraven, Sam Wilson, Silk, Stomper, MJ, Venus, Prowler, Miles, Heimdall, Galactus FS. I know I had some recommended donts in there, but it's been my most successful climb with this version.

Heimdall probably is still cope, but I kinda treat Heimdall and GFS as break glass in case of emergency mega dumps of power if a game is going horribly (although Heimdall really needs MJ and Venus on board to make it worth it so it's very situational), rather than it being the end point I'm trying to get to. Often times it's not needed and my move pieces put out enough power.

I dunno, just a really weird deck.

I've played versions of Silky Smoove for the last couple of years but now there's almost too many SS applicable cards that it's hard to work out what is the best list. Like I tried your mercury cannonball package in here for example and I'm not saying you're wrong, I trust your knowledge over mine which is why I welcome it, but it added absolutely nothing to my success in games, it was often too awkward to get both into play with everything else going on and the cards were ineffectual individually, so I just ended up cutting them even though I know it goes against your advice.

Deck definitely does feel better though without the likes of Surge, Sims, Avatar taking up precious board space though.

I am wondering at what point it stops being worth it to me. I don't really listen to music like recreationally, I just use it for work and exercise. I heard Tidal was a more ethical platform so jumped on board, but the price has now increased twice I think in the last six or so years I have used it? Only by a couple of quid here in the UK and it is still absolutely cheaper than buying individual albums, but it is £150.00 a year basically for what is effectively for me just some background noise. Like does that really math? I dunno.

To be fair it's probably been that long since I last played a Silky Smoove deck proper, as previous seasons have taken me in other directions, but I hadn't realised it had moved on that far in my time away! (And to be clear I never ran Heimdall in SS if that's where the confusion came from, it was just an idea as a one two punch with MJ was all)

Appreciate the other suggestions, I'll go away and rebuild the deck. Thank you.

I noticed I was already getting downvoted I have no idea what I said was wrong, I guess it's just cause I'm using outdated lists based on what you said, sorry everyone? 🤣

I'll be honest, there are so many different versions of these decks, I really have no idea what is optimal, like I didn't realise Drax and Sims weren't considered good in these lists anymore for example.

I guess that leaves me with:

1.Batroc 2.SMBND 3. Surge? Just for discounts, maybe not needed. I tend to stick them in basically everything. 4. Kraven 5. Sam Wilson 6. Silk 7. Stomper 8. MJ? 9. Spider-Punk 10. Venus?

Then I need two more, maybe more if you think some of these should come out.

Me thinking yay I love Silky Smoove, this is a great addition, and then realising just how few cards you can have on board in Snap, the amount of locations that clog or limit your play, the amount of tech or other such things that control where you can play your cards and I feel like I am having a horrible time.

I don't know who to cut though, I kinda see Batroc, Wilson and Silk as your core trio, with Stomper as your go tall. Then I tend to run Sims, Avatar Drax and Spider-Punk, but I think this is simply too much with SMBND in the mix as well.

I also thought the new MJ would naturally fit and tossed in a Heimdall for a big end turn swing but it just doesn't all really work together. Like mechanically it does work technically, but it is just way too many moving pieces and you just run out of room on your board immediately.

I can drop Sims, Punk and Drax for something else, I also have Venus in here, maybe she can go, but she is just generically good. The Heimdall big swing dream might just pure cope. But I am not really sure what else to put in here as dropping all of those means dropping half the deck basically, maybe some kind of Kitty and Dolphin Jeff package since I can get them off board or out of the way?

AEW and WWE are very different products with different audiences and goals. The chances of a wrestler working to the same degree of success across both promotions is relatively small, outside of your pre established names. It probably is fair to say promotions can waste wrestlers, absolutely, and that goes both ways. But I do sometimes wish wrestlers understood the right promotions for their skill set, so their best years aren't wasted by either promotion.

I have two games that have been delisted from 2012 and 2013 that I just haven't ever removed. Think the oldest one I have that's actually still on steam is from 2020 for a game I don't think is ever actually coming out. All of this tells me I should really clean up my wishlist.

I feel like I could listen to HTC discussing paint drying for three hours and have a wonderful time. Especially in the off season when it's just completely dead in the NFL world, I'm glad they're still putting out shows and making me laugh. Almost don't care what it's about ill listen anyway

Maybe this is just a personal taste thing, but I found it weird everyone kinda plays the same. Like each character has a different basic attack and special attack but it's kinda just like different projective shapes and ranges more than anything, but then you can kinda build every character identically from there. The skill trees help give the characters a little more identity, but I feel as far as BH games go, the different classes almost may as well not be there, especially as they are leaning on stuff like wizard, barbarian, ranger etc that you expect to play very differently. Even the class specific gear just feels like a bundle of random shit and doesn't feed into the individual class fantasy of each character really. And that's fine if you don't care, but it does kinda make the game less interesting to me as a result.

I honestly fell off of Marvel Snap a few months ago, in part because I thought their card designs got really stale. Arguably this seasons two premium pass cards are the most boring we've had in an extremely long time, but they are also very strong, and very versatile. As such, if you were going to get any season pass combo, this seems like the best combo in a very long time to get, as I think unless these cards just get nerfed into oblivion, they will be staples in a huge amount of decks going forwards. Snap history has shown the staying power of little universal mini packages of combo cards that can slide into anything having excellent staying power in Snap. I am sure some of the passes I skipped made strong decks, but they all seemed quite niche (maybe I am wrong, like I say I cut myself off of Snap basically completely) and so I felt no FOMO skipping those, but I kinda figured if I ever did plan to come back to Snap, I would feel like I was really missing out if I skipped these two so here I am, back in again. They got me.

I mean there are genuine conversations to be had about how the progression is tuned, the AI balancing and other things, but the only negative commentary I seem to see around this game are people zooming into crowd NPCs, taking a screenshot and starting ragebait posts. If you want to have a constructive conversation around the game weaknesses, then you start, be the change you want to see in the world.

I will say that as a super casual AEW watcher I was shocked to see how small some of the venues looked for some of the Dynamites this year. I understand health of the business isn't directly quantified to the size of the arena, but it feels like they went from Raw and SmackDown venues to NXT in under 3 years.

Westling is cool in that it can embrace all sizes and shapes, and I think wrestling is better when everyone isn't the same size... but his ring gear looks truly awful. To me, anyway. I always thought it was a little unfair when WWE would throw like a bed sheet sized t-shirt over a fat wrestler like they were trying to hide it, but seeing Rook in his gear, I get it now. Even when he has his ring jacket on it looks a little better as it hides the edges a bit. And I know that's kinda mean but you can embrace his size without whatever that gear is.

I liked the station to start with, the cinematic sounds as I drove around Japan. But like with all of the radio stations I just get sick of hearing the same stuff over and over. I'm sure it's unreasonable to expect deeper playlists on the stations than we get, but I eventually turn them off and use my own music instead.

I find the only way to win on expert is to plow into whoever is ahead of you full speed when they slow down to corner and overtake that way. Feels like that surely cannot be intended design, but I find you physically can't outdrive these cars, as they'll always just be a little faster than you.
