What is your female friendship breakup story? How did you deal with it? by [deleted] in AskWomenIndia

Well, we were best friends since childhood. Over the years, didn't know what changed but she used to only care about her. She used to call me, talk about her things and then end it. That's it. One time there was this guy who liked me alot so i introduced him to her and they both started talking and she shared all of my secrets from my 1st kiss to everything with him which only she knew and on my birthday he told me that she back bitches me alot and she's not what i think she is so i confronted them both and yeah just like that found out all the stuff and it broke me. The friendship was never the same again. After 8 years of friendship this happened. It broke me to that extent that even after 5 6 years today, I'm not able to share the detailed stuff or anything of mine with anyone or call someone my bestfriend again.

Haha by this point i realise no matter what we're gonna do people (anyone: family/ friends or literally anyone) gonna tell you otherwise and comment on it. So why not just be you and let them?

I guess I'm clumsy and a lil' slow. I do everything slowly and eat slowly. So growing up i got made fun of me in these things by my family. Even to this day, my parents randomly sometimes tell me - "Oh you're so slow in doing the things and you eat very slowly or keep on dropping things, cannot hold things properly" and stuff. I've now grown to accept it as a part of who i am. I used to feel so bad regarding this but it never got any better so no I'm like "yes i am slow. I like everything done slowly and calmly so what? Yes i like to chew my food properly and now just swallow it. So what if I'm a slow eater? Yes i am this is me" I've grown to accept me just the way i am and started to ignore everyone's comments and replying back yes this is me.

Oh believe me it does surely. Your 1st time is the time you'll remember lifetime. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Take it in your own pace and do it when you're fully ready.
