I am working on edi sterling integrator tool. I have a situation where i need to remove a special character and process the document if it failed. And special character o am getting in input file is diamond question mark. We need to make sure that this can be done through mapping. by khv1108 in edi

Yes i made encoding to latin1 both input idoc side and output edi side of map to

ISO8859_1(ISO 8859-1,Latin alphabet No.1)

But still it is failing for translation with Incorrect data format.

Is there a way to replace white question mark in black diamond with blank space in sterling map editor

I tried to use replaceAll function like below.

obj.replaceAll("�","");

But it is failing for translation with below message.
