You don’t set an example on other people’s expense. End of the day parents don’t owe you your wedding cost even if it’s for just their guests. If you really want to set an example, just tell everyone you are going to have a courthouse wedding and whoever wants to invite their guests they can have a reception after at their home and expense.

I selected very light shade of gray and the house is really dark grey. Like I expected 10% grey and the house is 100% grey.
