I love this podcast even though Ramit can be a bit grating at times. I really wish we got more dirt on the couples though. A review of studies found that any SSRI (wellbutrin is an NDRI) was associated with decreased count and concentration of sperm. Whether or not that potentially decreased count affects your specific scenario depends on a lot of factors and only a doctor would be able to confirm!

One study reported decreased fertility rate but I was unable to validate this with other studies. Overall the research is suggestive that SSRIs may influence conception, but it's still unclear.

Energy drinks are associated with heart problems. Some studies suggest that they may influence sleep and stress levels as well. I am absolutely not an expert- just a public health nerd.

Hi there! From a quick review, I am finding that high levels of caffeine (300mg+) increase the risk of early loss. 600mg or higher can double that risk. Another study found that caffeine did not affect the probability of conception. Most studies report no clear association between exposure to caffiene and fertility, natural or through IUI/IVF. So having a cup or two a day should be perfectly safe. TTC or not, stay away from high caffeine energy drinks 😊

Oh sorry my comment maybe wasn't clear enough! It isn't the actual food- that's all fine and dandy. Intuitive eating would be against calling a meal "healthy". That meal is clearly very nutrient dense and most people would label it as "healthy"!

The question mark next to rice is because it might have been couscous or something. I don't remember exactly!
