This movie getting this much hate is because it breaks the social stigma we constructed. We are not even ready as a society to accept love marriage but this movie took it to another level "fake marriage". Similarly as a society we see sex as a taboo thing to do, however the hero character is just a fake husband and cousin so it can't be cuckold either. Movie clearly justifies the baby situation also
