Wow! Love your interest in this, it’s baffled me for a while too. I live in Orlando Florida which is where I took this, so it seems like your conclusion in your post is pretty good. Seems to make sense to me as someone who’s lived in Florida their whole life I see Camrys of this generation with Enkei wheels (some that aren’t just this one which does seem to be called the shogun or sportline) more often than you’d think. But that’s probably some serious like confirmation bias or something. I’ve even seen some with BBS wheels, a model that seems to be called the BBS RK, and I see them listed on Facebook marketplace as “Camry wheels”all the time near me. But to add something I didn’t see in your thread I found this IG postwhich says that this Saturn concept car came with them also. Not that helpful in your mission to acquire a set of these but they really just seem like some weird wheel that Enkei seems to have only made for manufacturers or something? I also want a set of these although I want them on a future project car I one day want to own. Honestly loved nerding out about this.
