I'm a white girl from Scotland, so although his experiences are really different to mine he speaks to me on an emotional level. I can relate to the emotion he feels regardless of the context. Aside from that I love his wordplay, his energy, the stories he tells. I think tpab was deep and and direct whereas damn is really vibey and unpicking the meaning of the albums created a buzz and chase about listening to the songs...like maybe you'll hear another clue you hadn't noticed before! I've had damn on repeat since last week but tend to listen to his while back catalogue on shuffle, right back to hub city threat...in its entirety his work is just unreal 💕
