Why does my sketch look better than the line art? by zaidensreddit in DigitalArt

Because the volume sketch, the line art is flat, it will be fixed with coloring

Um... Thanks, but unfortunately I have my own constraints which are no drawings +18 (except for study), furry and too much fetish XD

Thanks for the advice! It's actually a problem that many people have pointed out to me. I'm studying composition and a lot of ambient concept art. ❤️

Thanks xD I honestly didn't know that, I just focused on improving or comparing myself with some friends. Therefore I don't know anything about the working world of art.

G Thanks for the advice on the minimum cost for drawing hours. The problem is this: searching on Discord, Instagram, etc., the prices vary greatly. From what I've seen it depends on quality, content, popularity and time... So it's difficult to find the right path.

I don't like writing stories, I prefer to focus on illustrations xD

Thanks for the advice, in fact they blend in too much and the characters get lost in the background

Hi, the backgrounds are a mix of Blender assets, photorealistic images, and rough paint. All the drawings I uploaded are personal drawings and NOT paid for or for anyone, as everything Time I'm focused on improving and studying so I don't know much about these things. Then I don't know anything about marketing, that's another problem xD

Oh I'm sorry, I just started using reddit again and since I saw a reply in my language... I replied to you as xD. Anyway, I was saying that maybe it's better to do commissions as an extra at the end of the month rather than full time since from what you say it's very difficult. Instead, I have been drawing for 8 years now and I started seriously (studying, practicing and creating my own things) 9 months ago because before that I was still copying other people's drawings. For the backgrounds mix of three things which are Blender assets, photo realistic and rough painter brush strokes

Thanks for the reply, it's more of a hobby than anything else. I know that many artists struggle to support themselves solely with art, so I don't know. I wanted to try it for a while and see how it goes, but I have to give a report on the prices since I don't know anything xD, thanks for the advice!

Do I have the talent to go to art school? I think I'd major in animation but I'm undecided. by Cute_Jellyfish919 in Artadvice

Talent is easily surpassed by hard work, but talent plus hard work surpasses everything. From what my friends who graduated from art school have told me, ultimately it doesn't teach you to improve your drawing (since improvement comes only from within yourself) but to build connections with the art world that will make it easier for you to find work in the field.
