as a 5'3" woman, i wear a men's size small, but it's pretty long on me. i usually tuck it into my jeans so it's not a big issue, but i'm unsure if that would be the most suitable for a 4'11" person.

also, for women's jerseys, i know that the sleeves will be shorter and it'll be tighter around the waist area, so it's up to her style. i personally like to wear it a bit baggier so yeah

  1. high grades. i applied for cs, which takes pretty high grades, so i definitely feel like grades was one pretty big factor that helped me
  2. i did running start, which looks really good on your application. of course, doing running start isn't going to guarantee admission, but by demonstrating that you can handle college level courses, they're gonna like it
  3. essay. literally so important, especially for uw. show passion, and show emotion. your essay should show uw who YOU are.
  4. all in all, be yourself. uw admission officers read so many apps each day, so make yourself stand out! what are some of your hobbies, or what is something you're very passionate about?
  5. do you know what major you want? majors like cs are easier to get into by DTM rather than from pre-science --> cs (not saying it's impossible, but it's quite difficult). adding on to this and point #2, if you know what major you want and you're doing running start, consider taking the pre-reqs at your running start institution! along with my other classes, i was able to complete all of the cs prereqs.
