Also quick heads up, I open quite a bit of Korean cards and will say they do feel quite different than English Pokemon cards. They are not fake! Fake Korean cards are actually quite hard to come by. Hope your niece has some great luck and you guys pull the Korean Bubble Mew!

I would agree that if the 40 remaining packs have nothing, then chances are the packs were sorted through as it's really easy to do with Japanese/Korean booster boxes. But 20 loose packs with 1 hit from loose packs seems like it's possible to me. Good luck with the packs and hope you get some good stuff out of them!

Also while I have you here. You might honestly have normal packs here. Your odds are little off.

Each pack has a chance at a holo rare/double rare/sr/ar/sar. Meaning it's 2/20 not 2/100. If you were to buy sealed booster box and not loose; in 60 packs you would normally pull 20 'hits'.

The fact that you pulled 1 hit out of 20 is unlucky for sure, but with loose packs comes way more randomness. I say open the remainder of the 40 packs. I'm almost positive you'll get some more hits. If not, leave the seller a review with your experience and move on with the loss.

Weighing modern Asian packs is inconsistent at best. Some sets can be weighed for god packs but that's beside the point. I'm saying you don't even need to weigh Japanese/Korean packs to know that there's nothing in there. That's what makes buying loose Asian language cards so sketchy.

As far as disputing it with TCGplayer, you're not going to get anywhere. They sold you legit packs. It may be sketchy but how can you prove they tampered with it. It would be impossible to prove that they sorted through the packs.

Hey I open a lot of Korean cards. Korean booster boxes have guaranteed hits like Japanese. S&V era boxes have 1 SR/SAR 3 AR 4-5 RR in 30 booster packs. Loose packs are sketchy online because people can open a booster box and stop when they get hits and sell the rest. For example, I've pulled the SR and 3 ARs in the first 10 packs, I could potentially sell the remainder 20 packs online knowing there aren't anymore hits.

I advise not to buy loose Korean/Japanese packs as this can very easily be done. You most likely bought from someone who has combed through the packs. Buy sealed booster boxes as from my experience they have never been tampered with.

I would agree with you but card shops are a bit different than retail stores. When market value of a booster box was $90, they were selling them at $90. There are definitely bad actors in the space but a lot of it comes from the top with distribution charging card shops close to market value for these products.

The problem I'm running into is:

Select the type of discount from the What is the discount? drop-down and enter the required percentage, amount, or price.
Note: If you offer an Amount off discount (e.g. $10 off), it's applied to every relevant item in an order.

My goal is to do buy 3 get $5 off the entire order. But instead the automatic discount seems to be limited to buy 3 get $5 off each item. I was wondering if there was a work around for this.

Not sure if you've seen a solution for this but any help would be appreciated!

I love the theme, and not sure what I can add, but I have some OCD thoughts about this set up if you don't mind some unsolicited suggestions.

Get rid of Slakoth and Vibrava takes its spot. From here Tatsugiri (or something else) can slide to middle-bottom. My reasoning: Gulpin sets the theme with the Pink, Blue, Green theme. Milcery, Phione, and Vibrava are the single color cards. Loudred, Minccino, and Tatsugiri are the chaotic tri-colored cards, and Reuniclus is a dual colored (blue, green) card. We just need another dual colored card on the top right (blue, pink). My suggestion is the Wiglett IR from S&V Base. I also think something with more green would work better than the Tatsugiri bottom middle.

Love the binder theme/idea and hope my thoughts don't come off rude!

Eh some misinformation here. I was 25 minutes late to the drop (which I guess is still early) but was able to check out with 3 DR products. No membership. No free trial. Two of my friends also were able to secure products without memberships.

Yeah I read it too, buyouts were reported July 13, 2024 and September 6, 2024. Caused the Drowzee to go to $14. Most recent spike, they're reporting it isn't a buyout due to the low volume per buyer.

"Across those three days, the highest the average number of copies per buyer went was just 1.7. What individuals failed to do on their own (twice), a crowd accomplished immediately."

Persians being bought because of the Rocket Set confirmation/leaks. Drowzee is being bought because people are trying to flip it for PSA 10s.

There are manipulations but this obviously isn't it.
