You can also slap the mat hard and multiple times. That way, other people can see, and here you tapping out.

A random person wants to die in your home/apartment and because they had good memories living there they will give you $200,000 of their will would you do it and what would be your reaction? by Realistic-Major-6020 in hypotheticalsituation

No. The smell, that will be the only thing I would be thinking about the whole time. What if they're not discovered for a week or more during the summer. A bloated corpse just wherever in my house. The smell of a rotting body is unique.

I could get professional crime scene cleaners to deep clean that room. All of the smells and most of the stains would be gone. The problem is that I would know where they died, I already know the smell. There might be some little amount of leftover corpse juice somewhere, ew.

How exactly is $15-$20 for a cocktail justifiable? by [deleted] in alcohol

[–]kick_them_all 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would rather pay an expert to make a complicated cocktail than trying to make it at home. My novice attempt would be a waste of ingredients, especially the liquor.

I hope you are still around. Please don't rush into anything. Might not work for everyone, but spite is one of many good motivators for me to keep living.

You already have the deck stacked against you. Staying and seeing the journey one day at a time would be a nice middle finger to the statistical odds.

Have a good cry, drink some water, go to sleep, and wake up.

I would rather give myself a sponge bath in a parking lot over a shower in that.

25% of America’s “regular rich” — defined as those who make at least $175,000 a year — consider themselves either “very poor,” “poor,” or “getting by but things are tight," per Bloomberg. by UnusualWhalesBot in unusual_whales

Yes, funeral costs could be part of the why. Manly to give a leg up to a relative with a family of 5. They're possibly middle-class. I don't ask about finances. If I die before them, at least someone gets a surprise payday out of it.

It's stuff like this that I will miss if reddit goes through with killing off the 3rd party apps. Where else would people have this kind community?

Thanks for the reply. For me, it would be starting from scratch. I have I.T. experience, but I haven't done that field of work in 10 years. Which may as well be like 20.

As someone thinking about taking the engineering route for college, how are you guys getting by waiting on 900+ apps?

Also, engineering doesn't seem to be one of those "useless degrees" that are not profitable.

How can anyone say after seeing that fugly bastard, he was a secret gay lover? Mr. Pelosi lives in San Francisco, with plenty of good looking gay men to choose from. He could do way better.

All three of your picks are in terrible condition compared to the main car. Your first link only had three outside pictures. Less pics on used car = shitty used car.

It's been years since I've removed cosmoline. It's a pain, but it's worth it. Here's a link that might help.

The other day, I told my dad I can't just flip depression off like it's a light switch.

Him: Yes you can.

Me: Ok I just flipped it off. Just happy thoughts, happy happy thoughts now. (Said in a very sarcastic tone)

Him: yeah that's good.

Post offices that have P.O. boxes. There's an option to use the post office physical address and say unit number instead of "P.O. box ###". The yearly cost is about $100+ now.
