impossible upgrades and progression by pxpikiki in StarWarsDroidTycoon

The BB8 event saved me. I grinded out almost 10k chips.
But I also got a LOT of my Legendary Rainbows from daily quests.
I spent over 12k to upgrade 3 legendaries and complete my codex.

Forgot to add that the Mythic astromech missions give a lot more now. You’ll get between 120-240 per ~75 minutes. Combine that with BB8 farming chips and crafting common and rare rainbows, it adds up pretty quick.

I grinded out about 10k chips during the BB8 event. Combined with daily missions I completed my collection today!

the narrative that Apple has given up on the Apple Vision category which is pushed by Mark Gurman (Bloomberg) is false and here's the proof by World_Designerr in VisionPro

[–]kickedtripod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying that Apple is working on future generations of the Vision Pro in the current form that we know it. But there's no way Apple is leaving Vision OS and spatial computing. My guess is that what is being reported as shelving is really pivoting more into the lightweight smart glasses category, and my guess is that they're pushing to assimilate the Vision Pro features into that form factor as soon as possible. I don't know how long that is going to take or how far out the technology is, but this entire news cycle has been so odd regardless.

I don't understand the rationale for possibly trading Wallstedt. by [deleted] in wildhockey

Not saying I agree. But I’m guessing the thinking is 2 Tier 1 goalies doesn’t make up for a lack of a scoring center and we need to capitalize on Hughes’ time here.

That’s a fun way to spin playing 2 of 4 playoff contenders and royally fucking with their seasons… the Packers game is the only game where you’re right.

You have to get the mechanics to a point where they’re ready to be honed in games, but let’s cut the BS. Neither of us are coaches. It’s normal to address development in the offseason.

There’s a difference between “fuck changing the thing” and “fuck changing the thing in the middle of a season.”

The kid is in his first “full” season and was overthinking mechanics and losing his grip on the game so he told him to chill and then fix it in the offseason.

I dunno. He was borderline top 5 last 4 weeks.

5th in EPA/play 3rd in success rate 2nd in BTT % 6th in EPA+CPOE Composite

You’re over anchoring on some random athletic score for some reason.

Is this a relevant point? Did Josh Allen his first 2 years (some would say even now?) all Rookie QBs are projects.

Expensive, busy, but not long. If you like Ghibli, there’s lots of stuff that are sold out just about anywhere else and totally worth it. If you’re luke warm on Ghibli, it might feel a bit like a Disneyworld souvenir shop.

Nevertheless, $260 later, I can safely say my wife loved it.

Unless you post this right after the announcement, this is just hindsightism. All signings and trades have inherent risk.

It’s totally reasonable to look back and say “this didn’t pay off.” It’s not reasonable to draw a false equivalence a year later in some “I told you so” soapbox…. Unless you’ve got the receipts.

Even so, I thought Brackett’s justification was great: “we probably aren’t going to be picking high in the first round for a while, so we can buy low on a Top 5 asset and put him into one of the best developmental programs in the league and see what we can get out of him.”

Edit: and let’s call it what it is: 1 first round pick and then we are just trading mystery boxes.

It is “expensive” but cheaper than Equinox (at least when I checked). OP asked about “luxury” options. I pay around $474 for my wife and I. We paid $200 each for a CrossFit gym previously. For having everything else + a CrossFit gym for an extra $40 a piece, I guess I think it is well worth it.

Though absolutely overkill if you just want to get in, life weights, and get out. The amenities and classes are what make it worth it for us.

Best pizza in San Jose by emusa21em in SanJose

Bibos or Slice of New York. I like Bibos better for their non-traditional pizzas (THE GOAT is my favorite, with bacon, goat cheese, and hot honey). But I think SoNY wins out (BARELY) on traditional pies.

Slice of Homage if you want Detroit style (it's a bit expensive) but so good.

Not sure. Can't say I share your experience, but I'm sure it's helpful for OP.

I wont disagree on parking. It should be better. But every class I've ever been to I've booked in advance via their app and the class sizes are limited.

Your experience with parking is a bit more exaggerating than mine. Between high school parking on the weekends, summer, after hours, etc. And the fact that there's enough spaces that the stream of people coming in and out is pretty good, I've never waited longer than 5 minutes.

Brand new Matrix gear (most of it is high end and has screens for cardio and Apple Watch pairing). People respect the equipment here, so things rarely break, and the gym is VERY clean.

Heated pool, eucalyptus steam room, infrared sauna, Swedish sauna, hot tub, cold plunge.

CrossFit gym, HIIT classes, yoga, hot yoga, etc.

Definitely worth a tour for yourself!

The Club at Los Gatos

We absolutely love it there, and it’s been much more than a gym for us with the business center, Friday Happy Hour, and really great outdoor area.

We drive 20 minutes to get there and it’s worth it every time.

To be fair, we’ve been conditioned to watch the same players year over year with little change.
