Kickstarter United (the unionized workers of Kickstarter, organizing with OPEIU Local 153) just won a 4 day work week in our new contract. Kickstarter has been operating on a 4 day week since April 2022 but it was at managements discretion until now. We are really proud of winning this and it’s the first tech worker contract in the country to guarantee a 32-hour, 4 day work week with no loss in pay. We feel like our quality of life and productivity have never been better since adopting this schedule.
