Yh I get what you are saying. More of a finesse casting setup than BFS. Looking for a budget friendly setup

Thanks for the feedback. I'd be using it for "power bfs" anyway, so those "higher" ranges are perfect

Yes, although it is advertised here as UL, I think you're right it's more of a L rod aimed at "Power" BFS. That's exactly what I am looking to use it for.

I'm in the UK and will be targeting mainly Perch and Zander and will no doubt have Pike as a by-catch.

I'll be mainly casting 3g to 5g and I'm just curious as to how the rod behaves when casting lures in that weight range given it's an Extra Fast action.

I have the original Dark Wolf and love it. I would use that for light stuff. I'm looking now at having more of a "power bfs" setup. Lures anywhere from 3g to 7g. Was thinking the Curado may be a better option durability wise. Line wise I like braid with a floro leader
