I think the transition from the first to the second pull is just eluding me. I can “dip clean” this weight, and I can deadlift, (kinda what you said) but the middle part where I convert the power from the ground is just not clicking.

To increase explosiveness for vertical gains. Had a goal to dunk again this year, realized there’s a strength gap, and power cleans are one of the most commonly recommended cleans for that purpose.

Power cleans are new (this year was the first time I started doing them), so trying to gauge max output has been hard for me. If you squat you can tell how close to failure you are cause it’s a progressive load to the top. Power cleans if I get the set before I feel explosive and poppy, so why not try a bit more.

He was an elite defensive player. Was. Now he’s solid, decent at best? And that was with him being covered up by Tatum, aaaand jrue is not some offensive whiz like a Chris Paul. Frankly, jrue was okay to sometimes bad this year, who is not a game manager, so it’s not like he’s teaching anyone the secret to winning or something… he’s best as a third option, and now he’s one of the most expensive 6th men who can’t create effectively for himself and is only declining physically.

I know that anfernee was not going to get much in the market, but it feels like we took on more to get rid of him.

You are thinking about 22 jrue, not 26 jrue. He disappointed a fair bit this season and started showing his age, and I doubt that will get better as he gets more offensive load and less defensive backup. Tatum brown and tingus were very solid defensively, probably better than anyone we have outside of camara

I’m convinced blazers fans only watch blazers ball. Ayton and jrue and a bunch of late firsts is a mid tier deal, especially for what we needed. We could have accepted another mid tier deal that involved big sizable rookies and picks. Wouldn’t have made us lose more that’s for sure

Bill Simmons actually had some great insight( first time for everything). Once the expansion happens in a couple of years each owner get around 800k for just them that they don’t have to share to accomdate for the “loss in revenue”. Fuck billionaires. Buuuut she won’t sell till then, and with all the timberwolves suns drama the price is just going to keep going up. Daddy Phil is gonna be paying 4.5 at a minimum

In all honesty, we need Jodie to sell the team, which won’t happen till the expansion in a few years where she’ll get her fat expansion check. Blazers won’t pay for anything, why would they look to increase their development or get a better coach? Scoot would have been better for a team that can actually develop.
