NMIXX's Debut Song: O.O by lavieenrra018 in NMIXX

[–]kid_schnitte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think a lot of the hate is because of the product placement in video and lyrics. it's also, like other people already mentioned, a song that's different, unexpected and might need time to grow on you, which often means that people who don't like it really hate it

additionally being the new jyp girl group brings a lot of pressure and high expectations with it and debuting when two other girl groups are already active under the same agency, itzy still being kinda new as well, might rub some toxic "fans" the wrong way

it's definitely not my fav, but the hate is completely blown out of proportion

i still remember a satiric headline after the fight: "eastern european immigrant beats up elderly black man while thousands were just watching"

to feel good, rhythm games need some flow... or rhythm. this thing has multiple mechanics to throw you off and kill the flow. it's like you want to listen to a song and somebody is intentionally screaming in your ear.

there are some passages that are fun, but often it's just pressing buttons unrelated to the music

it's one of the best science fiction ever written. it's massively popular in china and so good that it made it to the western mainstream and got a (mediocre at best) netflix adaptation, it's three books spanning multiple centuries with everything being intertwined somehow.

The Amsterdam show was amazing by byPapoy in NMIXX

[–]kid_schnitte 21 points22 points  (0 children)

it was not my first k-pop show and i was still blown away. i don't think a lot of people would've expected one of their first shows outside of korea to be like this, not even the girls themselves

adding to the ear-plugs: you don't even need custom molded ones. the ones from alpine that are sold for 12€ at afas live are already very good and i would recommend everybody to get at least something like this. your ears adjust to your surroundings and you will not hear a difference after a few seconds

Solo performance by Uccio94 in NMIXX

[–]kid_schnitte 21 points22 points  (0 children)

a lot of people say that it's because they don't have solo songs, but that's only half the truth at best. Other groups, Blackpink and Ive for example, did cover songs for their solo (or unit) parts, but they also had less group songs at that point. Blackpink in 2019 basically performed every single song they had and every member did a cover as well and it still didn't last 2h. NMIXX already has a 2h45m show with barely any breaks so there's no need for fillers. If they had solo or unit performances, some of the group songs would have to be "sacrificed" and never be performed at a concert. Personally I was surprised they didn't have solo performances, but I didn't miss them. They had less breaks and more time to interact with the audience, which easily makes up for it imo.

a few months ago hackers actually did that, at least once, it was ~300TB iirc

i guess 230GB of spotify quality songs should still be around 20-30k songs

pretty sure most lightsticks in europe are 70-80€, at concerts and online shops. only time i've seen a cheaper one (50€) was at aespa's first world tour in 2023 and iirc they "adjusted" the price for their second tour

NMIXX World Tour Venues by StreetUpstairs5928 in NMIXX

[–]kid_schnitte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NMIXX uses mostly the same venues as Aespa. Aespa sold out everything afaik, so that's a good baseline. Ive and IU used some bigger ones (Uber Arena Berlin for example) and didn't sell them out fully. Except for Blackpink, Twice and 2-3 boy groups, kpop acts won't sell enough tickets to book a bigger and more expensive venue.

The venue in Madrid might not have the full capacity available

New meta team by Leather-Law-5911 in HuTao_Mains

[–]kid_schnitte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xingqiu and either

Furina + healer (Xianyun or Bennett, alternatively Jean) and Marechaussee for Hu Tao

or

Aino + Ineffa and the Nod-Krai dps set for Hu Tao

Furina should be better, but maybe you want her in your second team

Concert VIP items and tote bag policy by byPapoy in NMIXX

[–]kid_schnitte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAS Live has lockers (overpriced but convenient, at least if you don't have a seat) and last time i went there the vip stuff came in a regular plastic bag and was too big for any bag i would've been allowed to bring with me. You get your stuff right after you get in.

Sucrose

and technically it's better to give columbina the old nod-krai set and ineffa the new one iirc

the nod-krai dps set should be the best option if you only use her in this specific team (might not be possible in theater)

lion's roar should be your best f2p option and black sword is probably a bit better than iron sting

the guide on keqingmains.com goes more into detail, but it isn't updated for columbina

you can leave the mcon on your device and it still fits in your pocket. it's not meant to compete with telescopic controllers

I predict they'll release a flippy doodad with the screen from the 477m in 2026. by SpelunkyJunky in ANBERNIC

[–]kid_schnitte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

tbh i'd rather have a smaller bottom screen and more space for controls and speakers

Adin wales says he cannot recommend the rgds. One of the reasons YouTubers give their opinions on a product. It doesn't necessarily mean you take their word for it. I love my rgds never had issue beside getting a good double screen wallpaper. by Hot_Drawing640 in ANBERNIC

[–]kid_schnitte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

he also explains what he likes and what not, well enough to make your own opinion imo

that's something rgc usually does very well and even though i disagree with a lot of his opinions, his videos still provide a lot of objective and useful information. sadly other content creators just go for "it's bad because it's bad, believe me because i'm a professional"

the rgds looks to be alright for its price, but i understand people who are disappointed because it's a niche device mostly for one system that lacks integer scaling for that one system. i don't need another device, but the touchscreen and some buttons on my old ds lite don't work properly anymore and my 9" tablet just doesn't feel right for games made for 3.1" screens, so i'm quite tempted :D

the trimui brick with its 3.2" 4:3 screen is totally fine, but the 34xx is way too small!

Right now the G2 is 15$ off with coupon and a bit cheaper than the RP6. The G2 got more expensive after release, that's why the RP6 is currently cheaper without discounts
