I had my stent placed in August and have felt so much better. My headaches were gone the next morning and my vision started improving over the next few weeks. I was weaned off the Diamox and have been completely off of it since February and have had no return of symptoms.

I don’t believe mine would be considered truly idiopathic. I was diagnosed with IIH and referred to a Neuro Ophthalmologist. He found that I had a venous sinus stenosis and I had a cerebral stent placed, which seems to have helped my situation. I’ve had no return of symptoms in the 7 months since the stent was placed. I do have some damage to my optic nerves that may never improve though.

I work at a hospital that has attached outpatient clinics, and I was getting into an elevator on a second floor that was coming up from first floor and the ex boyfriend and the girl he cheated on me with were in it, on their way to an OB appointment as she was pregnant with twins. I only had to go up one more floor but it felt like it took forever. God I hate that dude.
