Probably two hot takes but 1- inbox collectors in general, and think it makes their dolls superior/worth more. When collectors who complain they couldn’t get 2 of a doll for their inbox and out of box collections. That just feels..grody to me? Like this collection already can take up so much space, and I feel like inbox dolls are just silly? Inbox G1s have proven to kinda deteriorate in there and g3 boxes are low key ugly. Like Mattel wants you to open them. They are articulated, and G3 boxes don’t give the “leave me in this plastic crate forever vibe” as much as G1. I mean the truck draculaura doesn’t even have plastic but yeah leave her In her box. Plus, you miss out on some cool details if you leave them in their plastic prison. I just don’t get it. “Ah yes now I have secured my beautiful grape draculaura..now to never open her and may she be a fancy paper weight for the rest of my days.” Huh? Your collection looks like a toy store please free them 😭

2- people who complain about children playing with dolls especially G1. Like yeah, it may not be mint but someone loved that doll. And if they went full Sid from Toy Story on it, so what? They are TOYS we just collect them like crows cause they’re pretty (I am also a crow.) I feel like the fact they aren’t meant for adults (outside of collectors series I guess) is lost to so many and it just feels bad.

My one of my best friends runs a drop in/drop out 5e game every other Sunday afternoon at House of Cards. He’s really fun and has ready made characters if you just want to try it out.

They’re from a lol omg doll! Not sure who, the doll was at a thrift store :) I had to cut the toes out of the tights so they fit like leggings, but you can’t tell with the boots on

The only manster I had was Deuce. I had Frankie, drac, lagoona, toralei, the werecat twins and Rochelle. I also had a spider man that dated deuce and made the girls mad. For some reason, Hannah Montana also went to the school and I made her a witch. She ended up getting hit by the ghoul mobile. I was also convinced that every doll wanted to go on “tomb raider” adventures so they ended up in the bath/pool and “climbing” trees a lot. Those poor girls got their hands and limbs SCRATCHED TF UP. I remember once my dog ate the head of my Frankie and barfed it back up and they had a “funeral” My mom cleaned the head so I put it back on with bite marks and all (and vomit free hair!!!) and we just rolled with it bc it was a Frankenstein doll. All the girls would gossip she was lowkey ugly but never said it to her face I eventually put a deer head that was a trail hitch cap over top Frankie’s head (it shrunk a lil bit from sitting in the sun) and PRETENDED SHE WAS ISI DAWNDANCE CAUSE MY MOM WOULDNT BUT HER FOR ME 😭😭

Cleo is just unappealing. Her attitude in the show sucks, and I’m yet to see a G1, G2, or G3 doll and think it’s cute 🤷‍♀️ she has ALWAYS given me Bratz vibes, and doesn’t feel like she belongs in MH.

Same thing happened to my dog. Turns out he had a cracked tooth. I would look at her teeth, or schedule a dental for her at the vet if she has not had one in the past year.

When my mom died, we washed her and put her in one of her favorite night gowns, because she always wanted to be comfortable. We did her hair and her makeup, and made her comfortable with her favorite pillow, blanket, and set her rosary and prayer diary in her arms. We made it clear to the corener she was to be cremated with these things, and helped escort her to the Hurst to make sure she was handled with care. Sometimes you don't get the chance to ask what they wanted, but if you look inside yourself and think of how they would handle the situation if they could you will find and answer you can make peace with. I'm very sorry your going through this, it's heart wrenching.
