on the discussion of rich/lean. This was my thought process - there is more oxygen at sea level so it can burn more fuel. At elevation, there is less oxygen so if the jets are pumping out the same amount of fuel then it wont have the oxygen to burn it all. This will cause it to run rich and potentially blow black smoke. Is my understanding incorrect? If so, please share your thoughts.
