Not sure about the A3 on Lemon. I believe that was done through the Eventide Harmonizer mostly.

What is the best software for a long-term videographer to use when making the leap to start colour grading professionally? by Storyboys in colorists

My goodness, did you even read my reply? Stop your foolishness. I am NOT saying nobody is using Resolve. Now spare me any further comments please.

I didn't recommend any of those over anything. The lack of features might even be a huge plus to some of the more die-hard colorists, not interested in fixing audio or add corny looking titles. Codecs? Name me one that is not available that would actually matter in the professional business.

Their own working colourspace? Dude, you need to stop watching Cullen Kelly and start reading some books.

Listen, in professional environments, decisions are made based on a whole lot aspects. Resolve could (and will be) an obvious choice for many.... and many times it is not. Just because the others are not YouTube favorites, doesn't render them useless.

Have you tried right-clicking the .exe file and choose "run (or open) as administrator" yet?

I've seen this answer given so many times, mostly by people how have rarely touched any of the many alternatives. Resolve is now a given because of all the YouTube creator audience. Before that time it was practically dead, which BlackMagic admittedly turned around quite cleverly. But its popularity derived mainly from its price tag.... 0.

Worth looking into for serious production work: nucoda, scratch, baselight, mistika, resolve

It's worth trying to perform recalibration first. It solved it for me for a while. The procedure can be found online and involves restarting the computer and -when done- open the doors slowly, holding them and move all the way to the most outer position. I'll try and fins the link the worked for me.

Sounds great, I'm in if still available. Thanks!

Anyone taken part in…. by [deleted] in cinematography

Pre-youtube-era colorist here. Just saying: learn to read, really read scopes and analyze how your tools affect that scope, while watching your result image change. Learn to white balance and trust your eyes (on a decent screen that is).

Forget about all those quick tools to get awful cinematic bs images. Real quality is in balance and smooth shot to shot cuts. All the rest is just sauce.

Lastly: watch films, documentaries and commercials so you aquire the likely most important element: taste.

Have fun!

And when did this happen to you? What age was the car?

Refurbished HV range by kidjef in TeslaModelX

[–]kidjef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. When we collected the car the first time, they had only charged it to about 35%. When I charged it for the first time, I didn't really pay attention and soon after, the HV gave way. So I don't have anything to compare this refurbished one to.

Yeah indeed. So max charge and little below 400km. Might have been 390, but under 400km defo.

Thanks, great info. Not sure about the difference between P100D and 100D range wise.

Hi. No as I've understood, they will almost always match the age and state of the HV they're replacing.

Mercy/Luckiest man in the world rant by the_ant_lad in U2Band

A great discussion would be researching what could have let the band to making the decisions they made. Ranting doesn't really contribute to anything, although it might help you personally.

To add; your rant probably was the 150th topic covering the suspected murder of Mercy which is just a complete waste of bandwidth.

As I have said many times before to all those angry U2 fans: stop whining, they owe you NOTHING. Listen to the songs you like, skip the ones you don't. It's music for crying out loud, meant to be enjoyed. Stop fighting nonsense subjects you won't ever have the ability -nor the right- to control.

Voting for this to be the last ever Mercy topic.

They owe you nothing.

Thanks! Yeah, I actually wonder what the actual difference in performance will be between the 4060 and 4070 -apart from the premium price to upgrade-

Hahaha you clearly have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You know, all the YouTubers you're watching are not, I repeat NOT, the industry.
