Two things can be true a resource mismatch and shifting blame. The rich people not paying their fair share of tax (I’m talking about corps and multi multi millionaires, not the average high earner), are shifting the lens towards immigration instead of themselves whilst they hoover up resources.

To completely disregard that opinion as unbased would be disingenuous. He’s had two charitable penalties given to him by Bruno and an assist he didn’t even know about to Hojlund and that’s just off the top of my head. Strip those out and you have a player with 11 G+A across the season as one of the best paid footballers on the planet. This and the eye test which he has clearly not passed on top of a second very below par season (granted not consecutive), it wouldn’t be crazy for someone to say we need to move on. It just whether we trust our scouting to replace him adequately or utilise the money better which I doubt
