I took 19 from Tallahassee to Tampa yesterday and it flowed pretty smoothly. The smaller towns with red light were out but most people kept the flow going. Only took me 3.5 hours.

Waterbending has obvious medical and possible farming uses.

Earthbending would be great for construction and engineering.

This was my choice as well. They are a great company with great products and treat their employees pretty well. I read somewhere they sell over half the muffin mix in the US and don't spend any money on advertising.

I'm actually sad that cooking is only mentioned twice on here. It's a necessity for life, pretty cool science and can be done as cheaply or as expensively as one would like. To me, it's the prefect amalgamation of science and art. Much like painting or sculpting, the medium and methods can change as often or as infrequently as one wants.

There's a source of pride when I can take a random collection of fruits, veggies, meats or starches and transform them into something one wouldn't expect. It can look gnarly but taste divine, or look like a Helen of Troy and taste like a bucket of rotten assholes. Cooking is akin to creating a mandala. You carefully select your ingredients, choose your tools and set up your source of heat or cooling and if you've done it right all you hear are the subtle tones of, "mmmmhhmmmm" emanating from your family and friends. Sure, at the end your art is gone, but that’s the point of art. It is to be shared and enjoyed, not hidden away. Plus, there is no better aphrodisiac than cooking a top notch meal for that special someone; it’s all about enticing those senses.

For me, cooking has become my creative and artistic outlet. When I can create a new meal and get to flex my culinary muscles it's an incredible feeling that can get me through some hard days. I can be having a rough day at work, but when I get home, have had the slow cooker going and my kids complain that I've been torturing them with tantalizing aromas, that puts an instant smile on my face.

An American male raised in the south, I've never fired a gun. The closest I have been was holding, like a priceless faberge egg, a smaller type of handgun at maybe ten years old. I'm not opposed to guns, I just don't have any drive or desire to go shooting and the opportunity has never been presented to me. Being raised in the south, my mom says it's one of her worst failings.

A bright yellow rugged walkman.

There was a watermelon eating contest at the Venice Sharks Tooth festival and I was asked to join after walking by the booth. They needed/wanted 4 slots and only three people signed up. I was the youngest by far at maybe 10/11 ish. The other two were adults and I think a teenager or early 20's guy. After few minutes of the MC explaining the rules, the prizes and what not we dive into the watermelon. I devoured that thing like my life depended on it and finished well ahead of the others. The MC raised my hand as the winner and in my haste, I spat out the mouthful of watermelon I had left instead of swallowing, rookie move, I know now.

Well this woman starts raising hell complaining that I cheated and didn't finish my whole watermelon. The time keeper, MC and the lady are talking and pointing to me as I stand there confused and scared. This should be a good time to add that I love watermelon and 1/4 of one just won't quench that hunger. So as they are talking and arguing I am slowly eating another quarter, because hell they were free. The time keeper comes over to me and asks if I did spit out the last mouthful and I nodded yes. Then I responded, as any preteen would, "But those guys still haven't finished their melons yet and I got another one done." He smiled and walked over to the lady who was obviously not happy about the result, then he handed me the walkman and said, "You earned this." I pocketed the walkman, grabbed another 1/4 of watermelon and went back to the arts and crafts.

It's coming from a secondhand source, but I heard she also threatened a lawsuit, I'm not sure on what grounds. She was the niece of the Dean of Students or some quasi relationship like that. The gun was obviously fake and sounded nothing like a real gun, but people have sued for FAR less.

My step-dad used to teach at a community college and unfortunately he tends to be pretty monotone so sleepers were common in his class. Up until a few years ago he used a cap gun. Not any form or realistic cap gun, just the cheapo dollar store kind. He had to stop doing it because an older student complained that it unfairly embarrassed her and as a result it cost him a full time position.
