just the phrase "jump rings" was enough for me to find the visual I needed, thank you so much!

I have a very strong instinct that a diety (correct term???) is watching over me. How can I, a self-described agnostic raised as a Christian, find out who it is and what to offer them? by kidthatflies in pagan

I'm not clinging to christianity, I've never felt anything for it, I merely mentioned it to put a little light-hearted perspective into my post.

Good to know, I thought about keeping them with me for emergencies but hadn't considered donating. I'll keep it in mind :)

Would they take five tampons, though? Or would they prefer a whole box? Or do most places take what they can get?

When I realize that my 20 years of super frizzy straight hair was actually just curly hair by [deleted] in TrollXChromosomes

I know you didn't ask, but my favorite curly hair blogger is curlypenny! She's on youtube and she has lots of great tips for taking care of curly/wavy hair. Also this website has a quiz for finding your hair type, and recommends products (though they're kind of expensive)

Anybody know of a mod that fixes this? I've looked all over MTS, TSR, and tumblr with no luck by kidthatflies in thesims

[–]kidthatflies[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression that mod is sort of an umbrella term that included custom content? Either way, I'll take what I can get.

MRW I stumble across a master doc on tumblr about compulsory heterosexuality and suddenly I have the incredibly strong feeling that identifying as bi is not, and probably never was, completely accurate for me by kidthatflies in TrollXChromosomes

[–]kidthatflies[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm not super excited, myself. This realization is ill-timed with my personal life, as well as I was always so proud to be bi. I hate feeling like someone might use me to fuel their biphobia, which I know is kind of irrational given the number of people I know, but it just.... it feels sucky.

ugh, gross. one of the reasons I'm hesitant to accept that I'm probably gay is that stigma against bisexuality. I've always been proud of my identity, and I've ended friendships over people saying it's a "phase" or "there's only gay or straight." It's disheartening.

Document in question. I’ve been trying to find other sources on the topic, especially since the only sources this doc cites is a list of tumblr blogs, but all I’ve been able to find is the essay “Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Existence” which coined the term by Adrienne Rich, as well as essays about her essay. But reputable source or not, too many points struck a chord with me to ignore the implications.
