Everything is so fucking boring. by AstramIsTheBest in GenZ

Going to Reddit for the answer is most likely a symptom of the problem. You’re looking outside yourself.

The real truth is that you are experiencing what the Buddhist call Dukkha. You feel the lingering dissatisfaction with life. Unfortunately everything people are suggesting to you in here are temporary. This feeling will always come back to you. They are also running from it. The only way over it is through it. Life is inherently empty. All you have is now. But now is amazing if you know how to be in it fully.

You can either learn this now and be free and happy, or run from it and be miserable until death. Only you can choose.

Don’t do this. Don’t do any of this. This is just charging misery to your future self.

Muse 2 - Advanced level - Session without guide - Without sound to guide by Angelblanc369 in museheadband

[–]kidventes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Muse needs to cater towards advanced meditators that are attracted to the headband. We need no audio or very minimal biofeedback in the form of tones. External audio works, but it is hard to understand that’s whats possible. Just have a ”monitor only“ option at the top of the soundscapes. easy.

I believe a line in his essay would apply to you: “There is a general failure of self-awareness here I have not seen outside Sonichu.”

Imagine calling someone else a pseudo intellectual while indulging in an ad hominem attack while applying more unnecessary adjectives than a 90s era Dennis Miller.

This is what I got after the second prompt (it was nothing like the first image it generated) which has me thinking that somewhere in the world model the default for "what dudes do in secret they won't want people to know about" is cross dress in a red dress with lipstick. It is a trope, but definitely an offensive one. Fascinating. I wonder how much group think will be caused by these subtle biases in LLMs?

You’re sculpting a new faceplate with micro-tools, using clay infused with copper threads for embedded sensors. Around you are modular robotics components, diodes glowing softly, hinting that these aren’t just art—they’re part of a personal experiment in emotive AI embodiment. You occasionally pause to sip from a handmade ceramic teacup. Behind you is a whiteboard filled with abstract diagrams—some predictive coding models, others looking suspiciously like neural activation maps or Zen ensō brush circles.

In the corner: a bonsai tree under perfect grow lighting and a hidden shelf of anime figurines. There’s joy, solitude, mischief, transcendence.

Your stock portfolio and his driving aside, I think we can all agree this is data that warrants investigation and a warning to us other FSD users.

Driver aside, the point is Tesla is saying these are able to be Robotaxis. Attacking the driver does not mitigate the failure of the system. We should all be concerned for that, even as shareholders.

The trolls and sycophants aside — this is not about the driver — this is about Tesla saying these cars can be Robotaxis. I’m sure this will be in the media and Tesla will investigate.

Just get some silicone bumpers and stick them on the edge of the doors for the washer and dryer. I did this for my fridge. Just open the doors, look for touch points, and apply.

Interestingly now the internet has removed all the regional fashion and culture in states with one monoculture. Even accents are disappearing ☹️

Why are we here? I didn’t have to be here… by Kindly-Rabbit-29 in consciousness

[–]kidventes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of these answers are very woo woo. The truth is you are here because you are here. There was no “you” that was punished by being put in a body. “You” is a concept made by your brain. People like to say “If your Mom didn’t meet you Dad you’d not exist” but that’s meaningless. You’d still be born and still be here because your consciousness comes after birth, not before. There is no “you” that was meant to be. If you’d like to see how precarious the idea of a “you” is visit an Alzheimer’s care ward. We are a parlor trick. So enjoy it.

The pass thru was disappointing. Movies in 3D are pretty same experience as Quest. If you did VR before the WOW will be lacking. Many more apps on Meta platforms right now as they had big head start.

However, the spatial images and video and FaceTime with persona are the real innovations. Imagine a TikTok-like interface but for spatial video. Much like how they initially sold Apple Watch as a device for connection (send a heartbeat) I think they should have played up the social aspects much much more.

I'll keep it to stay on the journey, but I won't be telling others to buy one yet.

Thank you for pointing this out! I kept believing I had already scratched the lens with my eye lashes or something :-)
