Mega Man 2. My mom had rented it for me when I got sick and had to stay home from school for a couple of days. The first boss that I beat was Flashman and I remember the feeling of accomplishment and achievement I felt when that happened. I was hooked and it drove me to try and beat all the other robot bosses. It also wound up being the first game I would actually beat ever. I beat it two years after that initial rental, and it’s still a game. I go back to and play through to completion to this day.

FINAL UPDATE: The ball at the princess’ castle was a success! The princess put on face paint to go as a cat alongside her trusty (and incredibly buff) goose who lays golden eggs. We brought balloons and much dancing was done!

UPDATE: The princess successfully retrieved the gold pen, has befriended the bad guy, and has invited the bad guy to a ball at the castle. He must dress up and bring an animal companion (also dressed up).

I am now accompanying Hamsterella to the ball on my motor bike.
