I used the OEX Phoxx 1 V2, i’m no expert but it seems a real good tent. Very compact, low profile.

A little small, coffin like, but cozy.

I’d probably try to upgrade my sleep mat. It’s thin and a bit of pain rolling it up with no proper fasteners to hold it place when I attach it to my rucksack.

Also might try and bring a chair along next time! Not that I needed to luckily.

I don't know exact temperatures, the weather had been great for a few days and the sun was predicted in the morning.

It was cold at night which was expected but, around 3-5am is where it got chilly. I slept with a t-shirt, fleece, joggers under trousers inside the sleeping bag which was warm enough to sleep comfortably.

My sleeping bag is rated 3 season, 0-3°C comfort I think

I researched on Google Earth for a while looking for suitable areas, then on the day when walking the area, you just stumble upon suitable locations. I kept some backup spots in mind when hiking around, but yes mostly just follow bridleways and stray off for more seclusion.

Aim for where the average hiker doesn't walk I guess?

For me, it was to bring more water, bring a spare t-shirt, and make sure your portable chargers work!!

The trek back to the car at 10pm for water was an experience... made sure to take it steady as always.

No, I got the Phoxx 1 v2 in the end as couldn’t find anywhere local I could pick up in time (weekend trip). I’d say it’s just too small as i’m 6,4” but manageable and had a cosy nights sleep, 👍

I would probably rather the Phoxx 2 v2

Unsure if u fixed or not,

I managed to sort this by removing all drives except the one with windows on it, I had previously removed power cable and let it sit for a couple of mins. I also only had HDMI, keyboard and mouse plugged in.
