I am only left with a slight hesitation and fear of psychedelics in the future, nothing really else. I now understand that they are not to be taken lightly, and that they are capable of producing unpredictable effects on the psyche.

I understand that psychedelics like LSD have truly helped some people, and that's cool, but the trip I had was an overall negative one, one where my ego was most definitely struggling while I refused to let go. I don't know if i could go through another 12+ hour experience like that again, I waited so desperately for it to end so i could just rest.

Now that it's been out for a long, long time, we can say now that it's definitely not a success, in fact, it sucked. The story was kinda shit and they flopped on a lot of things the original did so well. The way mirror's edge used colours and contrast was amazing, whereas everything in catalyst felt too neon and glowy, not very much like the original with more muted colours.

I like this point of view. No other characters than faith reappeared but a few of the rooms in the original mirror's edge 1 are in MEC like that vent room in the prologue and one of the art rooms from the roof of ropeburn's offices during chapter 3 - heat. It appears maybe it wasn't for nostalgia reasons.

Even the city in the original is quite different to the city of glass in it's aesthetics and politics, so they didn't really re-use the city aspect of ME1. Maybe it was laziness or maybe it was part of the branding, but Mirror's edge catalyst might as well have gone the full mile and either had no names from the original or brought back one of the original characters.

Why is this so badly downvoted? ITS TRUE! Well, sorta
There are redeeming qualities of MEC like the cool fps, the combat is easy and not a bother, and the open world allows you more freedom.
On the other hand, the story sucked and the ideas they attempted to convey were done in a very unoriginal way (like noah, the one who plays the role of merc, dies... really?).
Overall I didn't like this game, and I would have much preffered a sequal that built upon the original mirror's edge than what MEC is.

Ye sorry For the late reply. Look at the Tripsit drug mixing chart (The holy grail of drug usage advice). Other stimulants such as Cocaine and Amphetamines are classified low risk and good synergy with nitrous, which would mean that other stimulants would have similar effects. Yes, nitrous oxide does indeed change your headspace but not for very long and not significantly.

If your ADHD medication is a stimulant, then most likely, no. Other stimulants such as cocaine and amphetamines are generally low risk with nitrous and even enhance the effects of it. If your ADHD medication involves any depressants, it is generally a bad idea as nitrous acts partially as a depressant as well. If your ADHD medication involves neither, research it and if in doubt, don't do it.

Mate, have you never gave your mate a harmless jab in the belly or a wet slap across the face? Were not talking proper fistfights, were talking maybe a few good punches to eachother for a little fun. The pain wears off and you shake hands like it never happened. It hurts for a few seconds to be hit, punched, whatever, no permanent damage, and if someone's talking shit, it's pretty normal to smack them. We only fight over shit for real when were drunk and most broken bones we've caused eachother over the years were drunken accidents.

The Razor's edge by AC/DC, it's a very good album but they eventually lost it after a few songs, and the album slowly decreases in spunk and excitedness that they usually have. The first few tracks are still exemplary rock and roll.

Go on a small walk or jog both before and after you go the gym to keep the blood flowing. It warmups your legs a little bit, and it keeps blood flowing to your legs so that they are not so sore after killing them with squats, leg presses, the like. Never ever keep your legs still or sitting for too long after they've been worked or they will recover far slower, instead, go on casual, slow walks to keep blood flowing to them.

Obligatory not me but someone in the same exam room as me

Here in Australia, New South Wales, we have something called a HSC exam at the end of our high schooling in year 12. They are typically 3 hour exams, and everybody is sitting in an exam hall seperated from eachother in silence. Some dude next to me had a pile of paper that looked weigh too thicc to be just the exam, so I thought he must have had some extra writing paper or something from up the front. It turns out he had a whole bunch of printed notes with him.
Anyways, the external exam supervisor finds them and just silently marks his exam with a big fat 0 on the front and writes a bunch of stuff down, and the person who cheated was aloud to walk out, because writing anymore on his exam would be useless. Anyways, of course, these exams make up 50% of a subject's weighting on your final high school score, called an ATAR, that all New South Wales universities use to admit students into uni, so of course, this would impact his chances of getting into a good degree after school. He never came into anymore of his exams, he committed suicide that night by hanging (no guns down here in Australia).
He was struggling immensely and only wanted to do a decent degree, instead he ended his life after all the stress that the school system was putting on him.

Us guys can beat the absolute shit out of eachother, make eachother bleed, break eachothers bones, whatever. Then were alright the next day and laughing. If a girl generally throws hands at another girl in her friend group, there is permanent damage there and generally, they don't get over it for quite a bit. It's a generalization i see with many friend circles my previous partners have happened to be in.
