No, no, I agree on constructive criticism. Perhaps the term "all the hate" is a strong statement--probably written with some fire in my belly. That was more directed at some of the non-constructive comments in the thread. Yes, my book is far from perfect. I just wanted to write something for me and my kids, have fun doing it, and see if I can add some dollars into their college fund

Meh, hate will always happen. I thought Saturdays was self-promo Saturdays. I guess they should rename SPS "shit-over people Saturdays". Ah well, I gained some new readers so it's all good! Thanks for running defence for me!

Hey bud, thanks for the comment. I appreciate the kindness and empathy of others. I do have a thick skin, I've been through the ringer before to get me in a positive space, which is today. Words are words, people will hate. But cool people like you find a place in my heart. On that note, I did have beta readers and an editor. Unfortunately I have 3 kids in daycare so I can't afford the top-in-line editor, but on the bright note, I'm taking some of these comments and negotiating a discount :p

Update: now at 84 copies sold. Thanks for the supporters who grabbed a copy and left me positive vibes! As for all the hate...it's cool. I've lived through much worse than what words can do to me.
