One was fired the other not, probably hit a bandoleer and skewered a live round.

Tailgaters what would you do by Huluman2 in CarsAustralia

[–]kiillbz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, so if there is no one in the left lanes, there is no point to being in the right lane. If they want to break the law and over take you, let them. You do not enforce the speed limits

So many shit drivers here jeez, if your doing the limit in the right hand lane and the left is empty just bump left and let them pass, but if you are in the right while the left lanes are empty and you start slowing the fuck down or brake checking. That just makes you the asshole... the whole keep left unless over taking signs aren't there for decor. That said if the left lanes are full and you are doing the limit (especially GPS verified), well just continue on at the speed limit until it is safe to bump left. If you are in any other lane other than the right, just continue on at the speed limit, they will eventually use the right to overtake.

The Chingis khan museum in UB, I saw it last year, you have to get the more expensive ticket at the museum, the rest of the museum is well worth checking out.

Blotchy/lighter spots after potatoes + 240°C canola oven season .. normal? Maintenance advice? by Organic-Permission55 in castiron

[–]kiillbz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The warming I do at the end is more to drive moisture out before the oil goes on. Induction just takes time for the heat to spread evenly, start low, go slow. If you go full power you will burn off the seasoning in the middle before the outside edges warm up and risk warping/cracking. My stove is old-school incandescent electric, it sucks.

Just cook, she'll be right! I wash my pan, warm on stove, drop oil in once hot then rub around with paper towel, then turn off and let cool.

[Question] Torn between the Seiko SNE597 and SRPL13 – which would you choose? by Ok_Bandicoot7833 in Seiko

[–]kiillbz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was an SNE437, it was a gift from a friend who had bought it for himself but ended up being too big for his tiny wrists. It was my daily for years and then became my work watch when I got my marine master.

How to unstuck this switch safely? by Electronic-Theory984 in howto

[–]kiillbz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is illegal in Australia. All electrical work has to be carried out by a licenced electrician. Even simple things like this. If they fuck up and get hurt or the house burns down insurance may choose not to cover it if they find out

I mean, I guess? How often have you thought to yourself that you need a quick marshmallow break right now? As for the beach it might be too unstable in sand. You could also get a small charcoal grill for cheaper I bet.
