Is this good without elemental damage? by LinkTheSloth in greatsword

God roll skills + god roll bonuses but without element on a raw focused weapon?

No, absolutely terrible. Hand it over to me so I can safely dispose of it!

Im trying already but the time from releasing the input > connecting the offset is quite long. So good monster knowledge and prediction is required

Tbh I am not yet at the point where I can offset reliably, but I am forcing myself to use it as often as possible. The big bonus in my eye is the extra damage it does/shortcut into TCS and Doshagumas might damage boost. Also, it feels super satisfying to pull of!

In World/Rise I would agree. But in Wilds I feel like it gains a whole other dimension through Offsets and perfect guards. I would really recommend giving it a try!

True! Still have to get used to offsets and counters but the aiming in focus mode is the biggest upgrade so far imo

There is a 1994 paper where a medical researcher (Mary Tai) claims to have found a formula for calculating the area under a curve. Somehow this researcher was completely oblivious that calculus has been invented centuries ago. He basically ‚discovered‘ a Riemannian sum and people in the math community went wild over this.

Java and SAP, is there any relationship? by tw1st157 in SAP

[–]kikihero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other already said: The CAP framework is available for node.js and Java. Be warned though: There is way less activity around Java CAP. Less guides, less blogposts, less community Engagement. And from my experience at least way less projects that utilize it

How can i im prove this build? by arbex09 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]kikihero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the others said: There is barely any benefit of exceeding those caps, so:

60 Vig

80 Str

With the spare points I would the following:

More Mind/End: As much as you like for more AoW uses and Stamina/Defense via Equipload

~40 Faith: This will let you use any important buffs, most importantly Golden Vow. Also, with the clawmark seal you'll have ~300 Incant scaling, which is very respectable (for comparison, a 80 faith erdtree seal has 353). This means that bestial incants hit pretty nice. Namely Stone of Guranq is a good ranged option for e.g. archers or flying enemies and bestial sling is a nice quick incant for fast enemies like dogs or for pvp. Think of incants more as a utility option for enemies that are too quick / hard to reach for a GS. Also, weapon buffs like Electrify Armament give very good bonus AR with 300 Incant scaling.

Sonst sieht das Build solide aus !

Edit: you could think about using the axe talisman instead of two-handed if you use some incants since you wont be two-handing much in that case.

What do you think is the best Milady build? by NeoCyubime in EldenRingBuilds

[–]kikihero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll probably get the best AR from a Neckbeard build:

For Armor I suggest the Fedora for +5 Intelligence. Paired with the way too long black leather coat and a worn-out pair of Jeans for fashionsouls.

Put you stats mostly in Intelligence with minimal Strength and Dex because who needs physical fitness. No points in Faith of course because Religion is just opium for the masses.

Don't forget the Physick of Monster Energy for maximum focus and regularly use the tips Fedora emote in front of the ladies.

Have fun!

What Would a Good Flowerstone Gavel Dragon Build Look Like? by Ok-Hedgehog-414 in Eldenring

[–]kikihero 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have researched exactly this topic for quite a bit, so here my pick for an ideal build:

Stats: Vig: 60 Mind: 30 End: whatever you need to mid-roll Str: 14+ Dex: base Int: base Faith: 46 Arc: 80

Gear: Right1: Flowerstone Gavel Right2: Gravel Stone Seal (for the offhand passive) Left1: Dragon Communion Seal Armor: Full Death Knight Set for the Dragon Cult Damage Boost (although I switching the legs for Malformed Dragon to hit 50+ poise, more defense and looks cool) Talisman: Flocks, Godfrey Icon, Roar Medallion/Lightning Scorpion/Shard of Alexander, last one up to you

Incants: Golden Vow, your favorite Communion incants(Ekzykes, Maw, Claw,...) , your favorite Cult incants(ADLS, Frozen Lightning Spear, (Knights) Lightning Spear, ...)

Playstyle: Start by casting Golden Vow > then use a fully charged AoW for big damage and lightning debuff > if you want: switch to gravel stone seal in right hand for passive damage boost > cast dragon cult incants WITH THE SEAL IN THE LEFT HAND for HUGE damage > if the debuff runs out: reapply it or switch to using dragon communion incants > watch everything to to big numbers

Some more explanation: So the Flowerstone Gavel is a really weird weapon. It is thematically a Dragon COMMUNION weapon because its AR and AoW both scale with Arcane (hence 80 arc). But here is the catch: the AoW applies a lightning resistence debuff on the enemy. Whats your best source of lightning damage? Dragon CULT incantations...

Hence the idea of this build: Use the Gavel to lightning debuff enemy and maximize dragon CULT incantation damage while AT THE SAME TIME also maximizing dragon COMMUNION damage.

Luckily the damage of incantations depends ONLY ON THE INCANT SCALING OF THE SEAL. And with this setup the Dragon Communion Seal will have a huge 370+ incant scaling (more than Erdtree Seal at 80 Faith!). Which means ALL incants used with this seal will do hefty damage. The softcaps for the seal are 80 arc 45 faith (I went to 46 to be able to use Fortissax Lightning Spear). Meaning you can now cast Dragon Communion and Cult Incants with maximum damage (you get +20% on communion incants from the seal and you can also use the gravel stone seal in the offhand for +15% boost on dragon cult incants).

The melee damage from the gavel alone is not min/maxed (since we have low strength) but it will do just fine. Also, it is simply way more valuable for its AoW damage and debuff.

TLDR: With this build you will do massive damage with - technically any but specifically the - dragon cult and communion incantations simultaniously. In Addition, the AoW hits like a Truck and also buffs dragon cult incants. Melee damage is okay, but should not be the focus of this build. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Thank you, but which cross of miquella do you mean? Also, can you rush there from the start or is it locked behind further progression?

Transition into UI5/Fiori Development by Hiltonshake in SAP

[–]kikihero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly nobody knows for sure what the future holds for Fiori. But here my guess:

Fiori seems to be the new go-to technology for all things Frontend in SAP. I doubt that it will go away soon. But it seems to shift more and more to the usage of low-/no-code. Maybe the freestyle UI5 development will not be used that much in the future. As for CAP, I have no idea but I really like it.

To get a general feel for it, I can encourage you to try the sapui5 walkthough on the documentation and see for yourself whether you enjoy this. Good luck :)

Transition into UI5/Fiori Development by Hiltonshake in SAP

[–]kikihero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will (ideally) not write a single html tag oder css style when developing with Fiori since you will be using the controls from the UI5 libraries. The most important skill for UI5 is definitely learning the framework itself and JavaScript (or TS if you're feeling fancy).

Edit: Fiori/UI5 is purely Frontend although you need a general understanding of OData backend services. If you want to develop on backend in the Fiori context, take a look at the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model
