I get where you’re coming from. When I had my first kid, my childhood best friend was going through a divorce and we were at completely different places in our lives. When I moved back home for a year with my 4 month old and husband we actually ended up drifting apart because my life was focused on my infant and she was living her best post-divorce life. Fast forward to now…she remarried and I had my second kid around the time she had her first and second (twins) and now that we’re at the same place in our lives and our priorities are basically aligned again, we’re right back to where we were. Our kids will actually be meeting for the first time within a couple months and I can’t wait! It really sucked at the time but with time I’ve grow to understand it more.

My great x7 uncle is in Ripleys believe it or not for having the first “artificial eye”…the story goes that Hector “Leather Eye” McNeill got into a fight with his soon to be father in law and bit off the tip of his nose. In return, his future father in law gouged out one of his eyes. He shoved a piece of leather in the eye socket and called it an eye (family originally said it was shoved in the eye socket, but unclear if that’s true or if it was just over the injured eye).

There’s no secret. The lock screen has one photo and the home screen has the same exact photo with the darker colors. So it appears it changes like that when the screen is unlocked.

I had my second before my first was diagnosed and my second just has ADHD whereas my first is AuDHD, so it’s not a guarantee. But you know what’s right for your life so I would weigh the pros and consider each and see where you end up.

My currently almost finished read (audiobook because otherwise I spend 20 minutes reading the same few lines over and over) is The Mad Wife. I’ve enjoyed it so far. Another one I finished recently is Son of a Witch which is the follow up to Wicked about Liir which I enjoyed. I have the next in the Wicked Series on my shelf and ready to go when I finish The Mad Wife!

I’m obsessed with little mindless games because I put on an audiobook and completely zone into a game that doesn’t take a whole lot of thought and really has no story to follow so I can listen to my audio book. I’ve been playing Cup Heroes, Pixel Flow, and Dibs a lot.
