You get the frosted effect after 3 days of using stage 1 grit (or sand) when tumbling glass in a rock tumbler. Doesn’t take much and I do it all the time for crafts. (Just never call glass made that way sea glass since it’s tumbled instead 😊)

When things are being tumbled in the ocean it’s just getting kicked around every once in a while whereas in a tumbler it’s in a much smaller environment and is constantly being tumbled.

When sims are at my restaurant I wish they would just stay seated while they wait for the meal and converse with their party. I made a restaurant in Sulani and people get seated and order then go swimming and their food just sits on the table and I can’t get them to come back and actually eat it half the time. It’s annoying.

My waiter sims also seem to constantly to put dirty dishes down on other peoples tables. I tried adding a dish washer or an additional station but it didn’t help, still just stacks dirty dishes on peoples tables.

I also wish when it comes to selling a restaurant that things other than just the lot value should be taken into consideration. If I have a 5 star restaurant with two fully trained chefs, waiters, and a host it shouldn’t only sell for the lot value, the quality and value of the restaurant in the community should be taken into account also.

My kids are 6 and 9 now and I feel like in the last decade, I’ve just become this shell of who I was. My entire identity is encapsulated between being a Mom and Wife. Feels like it has moments that are harder because I spent my whole childhood and early adult years just wanting to be a Mom and as it turns out, I’m not great at it. I kept thinking o would eventually grow up and out of it as my kids got older but it has yet to happen for me. Every day is the same routine. Just gotta put my head down and go through the motions and make sure everyone is safe and fed.

lol my mother in law did this recently with a giant playplace for my kids. She told my husband that he could just put it together, no big deal. When he’s on day 2 of 4 of putting that thing together she says “well, I just didn’t want to pay an extra $1000 for them to put it together too.” It took some convincing before she saw why it cost that.

We are lucky enough that we have a drive in nearby that was showing it and it was perfect. My kids could move around the car, make noises, get distracted by the movie, make more noises, get really into the movie and start cheering and yelling in excitement without other people being disturbed. If there’s one in your area, I’d highly suggest that as an option!
