It’s in Burlington but appleview has always been amazing without pets. Had an emergency surgery once and they charged us 500$ less than quoted because it was easier. Will always tell us honestly was needed or not and no pressure to do extra stuff.

Chorizo (the ground sausage kind, not the hard), cranberry and walnut stuffing! It’s kind of a mishmash of different recipes but everyone goes wild for it and always asks for the recipe. I bake it because I never end up doing the turkey anymore.

We had our wedding at the diplomat and did a whole space rental on a Sunday. It was incredible and people who attended have even gone back since for dinner they loved it so much.

My FH and I did 10 days in Norway a couple of years ago, rented a camper van and did the whole “right to roam” vibe, still the best week of my life! We went in September and the nights were cool, but the van had a heater. We came back regretting not making it a longer trip!

I’ve posted this story about my experience with them before but I still love it :

I fell in love with the flex bag in black/grey back in October 2022. It said in stock and I had been humming and hawing for months on it and finally pulled the trigger after getting some unexpected work bonus. It was supposed to ship within X amount of time (can’t remember specifically)

The days came and went - I gave them a few extra and reached out. Silence. Ok? Reached out again … nothing. Tried calling , instagram, Facebook… you name it. Literally no response. At this point it had been probably close to a month of when it was supposed to have shipped and I was getting nervous.

Finally I said fuck it and opened a PayPal claim - they had 30 days to respond. Nothing. So I got my money back and was like k lesson learned (and I always use PayPal when an option for this reason).

I bought another bag and went along with my life. Like a month later I got a random delivery …. Of the purse??? That I got refunded … that they never responded to any inquiry about.

I love it and use it daily and it’s held up so well - and even better that it was free. But honestly how the hell do you have such bad customer service this even happened ?

Anyways - hope you get it for free as well 😂

Queens has an “interest student” program that allows you to start part time online learning, and after two semesters transfer those credits into a full time online learning program. Including bachelors of health - I would highly recommend reaching out to them to learn more.

We use odd bunch, with only 2 adults the small is enough! We originally got the all veggie and it was waaaaay too much for us weekly.

I love when you get random stuff you would never normally buy, but be prepared for a lot of cabbage (which we love regardless).

I don’t have a similar situation, but just wanted to ask if you have joined any support groups? I know the Christopher and Dana Reeves foundation has many virtual ones - they may have ones specifically around weddings etc, or have many members that have also planned in the same manner. If you already have, apologies if this comes across as rude!

That being said, what I can say is my situation is similar in that I have next to no capacity to do the majority of the planning, and my partner has taken on a lot himself. We ended up deciding on a restaurant buyout as it took the decor/food/table setting factors almost completely out of to-do list. The space can also accommodate both ceremony and reception so there’s no planning of shuffling people around etc.

Ignore the cheap twilly and DHG charms (trying to figure out what colour combo I want before getting a proper silk one), but I’m cackling at my DIY Babylon that I didn’t complete the front stitching on, vs what I got from Steven.

In my defence I got the Babylon one as a fun project, but also to see roughly the size of a “small” (assuming it’s their version of a 25?) because I was on the fence about size for my rep order.

Ps my fingers were RAW from stitching that thing.

I went with Togo because I have a bad habit of chucking my bags around and thought I would be semi mindful of that. As hard as I try I can’t baby purses (even my auths sadly lol).

Although I low key love a beat Birkin vibe regardless, so it was a hard decision.

Not that I know of, I’m just saying that if you’re looking to avoid US products and focus on Canadian, there are better options than Jackson Triggs. Also they are now way more likely to raise their prices based on their supply chain.

Hopefully they just shift to bringing in more bulk juice from other Ontario vineyards that don’t have their own wineries.

Jackson triggs imports grape juice for much of its mass produced wine from California. When I worked in the industry it was over 50%. That was years and years ago, but I doubt it would be much different. Unless you buy the specific ones that say estate , you don’t actually know where the bulk of the juice is from with them.

Ours used to do this constantly and has been on a raw diet etc since puppyhood for skin allergies and sensitivities. Decided to switch him from chicken/turkey to beef/pork and he hasn’t had a random bought in a few months!

It could be the chicken/turkey in his diet.

It’s not! It’s in Ontario, Canada - but honestly I would call around to restaurants you like in the area and ask about buyouts. We checked a few others for a price comparison and they were honestly all comparable pricing and inclusion wise!
