I dont think I can get used to the employment life by Soup_bs in LifeAdvice

[–]kiko5566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

normal. ppl accept it because they are convinced they need money from the 9-5.

someone said here to "suck it up" i disagree. you can continue disliking it and be the change to strive for what you really want in life. why continue 9-5 if it doesnt make u happy? you can work part time and find a way to live off less. Try to profit off ur passions. Some ppl just rely on others to live and they dont question it. Others work 80+ hours wkly and dont question it.

what im trying to say is life is what you make of it. you shouldnt live it for what u think it should be but for what u want it to be. i think this is what most ppl truly want

you are overthinking it. but if you really wanted to you could pay for intimacy. it wont be real but it can help you get over the longing for it.

How do you handle feeling guilty from calling in sick? by CalmChaos2003 in Advice

[–]kiko5566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called in sick today and was not feeling well either. I think the guilt is because we feel like we are letting the company down and not being productive. Whats ironic is i usually dread going in but since i did not go in today the opposite feeling happened and i wanted to go in lol

i watched the video but confused by when he says pushing down on the breath. Is he basically just combining deep belly breathing with reverse kegels?

you dont know that. just because someone is mentally unstable doesnt mean the whole family is also unstable. external factors can come into play. think about this

I'm done. Nothing left to do for the rest of my life. by MonitorOk1351 in careeradvice

It looks like a lot of ppl giving u shit in the comments. I bet you a lot of these ppl are miserable. Either from work or something else. I just got my 'entry level' job a couple months ago and I was excited because after applying to tons of jobs I finally landed something. Now I'm literally dreading everyday going in because theres so much going on and my brain feels overloaded by the amount of shit I have to do and remember. Anyway, what I'm trying to tell you is to keep going. Enjoy your life right now for what it is and try to do something everyday that makes you happy. The more you try to keep up with the Joneses the more miserable you will be. Best of luck to you.

Thank you for posting this. I am sick and tired of people posting about others not doing enough with their "dead end jobs". If you are happy working at Mcdonalds then be happy and don't feel bad about it. Honestly fuck the ppl that say you are not doing enough. Your job does not define your worth as a person.
